"The staff is Absolutely fabulous and truly caring - it felt like a second family. Sylvia, the facility Director is beyond exceptional. There are no words to describe how wonderful she is. Christine the nurse just started when my mom went to the facility did an outstanding job with everything she had to learn and take on. Alex who leads activities is calm, caring and goes beyond her role. We were always greeted by the chef with a warm smile and he would take mom walking outside when we could not be there. There’s always something meaningful happening music, visitors, therapy dogs, spiritual days, and so much more. When my mom passed we could not have asked for a more compassionate experience, the way the escorted her with a prayer was totally beautiful. I will be going back just to visit the staff, the residence and other families we came to love."

"It was a very nice place. The memory care was on the first floor and the assisted living was on the other floors. It had a homey atmosphere. They had a really big room that could accommodate 50 people for residents who want to celebrate something. They had an upstairs theater which was very nice and very homey-like. I loved the person that assisted me. She was really helpful and she would be beyond 5 stars."

"My mother-in-law has moved in at Ecumen Seasons at Maplewood. We chose it because of what we hope is their caregiving, but mostly because for dementia patients, they have care to the end stage so she doesn't have to move again. The staff seems very efficient, and they have nursing staff available all the time. The rest of the staff is well-trained for dementia and very patient with my mother-in-law. Whenever she doesn't want to go to dinner, they would come back to ask her again to eat. Whenever we were there, she'd tell us that she was pleased with her meals. She won a bean bag toss contest one time and they have Wii Bowling. She hasn't been there that long but she was cutting out pictures and pasting them on posters for decorations for the Veterans Day celebration for the residents and their spouses. She seems busy and happy there."

"I just got a really good feeling about Ecumen Seasons at Apple Valley when I walked in there. I talked to one of their executive directors, Jill, and she was very helpful. They're a little bit cheaper. The facility itself was very nice. It had a nice community room and a dining room. They had a nice setting where they overlooked a pond on the back side of the building. It was more in a residential area. We could have eaten there, but we just didn't take the time to do that. It's an older building and the cupboards in the kitchen were not as up-to-date. I didn't like the floor plans either. We could have lived with it, but the rooms just seemed a little crowded or not laid out quite as well as the other facility we went to. Jill was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. The other thing we liked about them was it's owned and run by a nonprofit, and they've been around for decades. I like that aspect of it."

"Suite Living Memory Care & Assisted Living of Roseville has 25 rooms, so it's much easier. It seemed like a nice place so it's where my wife decided to go to, but then every place has their problems. There were only three people to take care of all the 25 rooms and do cooking because a bunch of people called in sick. The food's kind of a coin flip, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's just not the greatest. They have the people playing Bingo, different kinds of board games, and Yahtzee. Majority of the staff is pretty good, but some of them are questionable. The room my wife is in suits her right now, but they supposedly have bigger rooms there. She has her bed in there, a table by the side of her bed, a chair, a small refrigerator, a love seat, and a decent-sized bathroom."

"My dad moved in at Ecumen Centennial House last January 17th. We chose it because of the location. When we first went for the tour, the facility was very clean and the people were dressed nicely. It was just a nice environment. His room is very nice. They have activities Monday through Saturday. They have crafts, exercises, and Bible studies. There's always something going on. I haven't tried the food, but I've been there for a couple of meals, and it looked really good. The staff there is nice."

"Suite Living of Burnsville was absolutely perfect in every way. I would give it a five all the way around. My husband didn't like it because he said it was too lonely, meaning it's very quiet. There aren't a lot of people. I'm going to move in there whenever I need it. It's absolutely wonderful and well taken care of. The facility is very new. They had a lot of activities and many choices. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It would be really easy to have family members visit. They're just amazing. I saw the menu, and I was watching them set things up. They seemed well presented. They had a variety of different types of food."
