My brother is in Community Assisted Living. They have 2-3 homes there. I'd go and pick up my brother and take him to lunch. He's got a little electric scooter that he could use to go around in. He was just allowed that for a while. Every time I go there, there are nurses that seem to come in at least once a day. People there pretty much sit all day and are not very attentive. They don't watch television, read, or anything else. My brother at least watches television, and yesterday he made a phone call. I think he actually improved a little bit, and it's encouraging. The staff has been very good from what I could see. My brother's only complaint is that the food is pretty bland and not very attractive. The facility is nice and clean. He does his own thing. He's got his electric car,t and he goes out to the store. He has places he visits there.
