We were pleased with Sandalwood Valley. It was clean. The people were friendly. It looked like it was well organized. The staff took the time to answer questions. It seemed to have everything my parents needed. They had a salon, multiple kitchens, and meeting rooms.

I was very happy with it. I was very impressed. The staff was absolutely great. The one-bedroom was very nice. They have a salon and they have a place where people could go to in the summertime. The residents were watching movies when I was there. Everybody was very courteous. It was very clean, very nice, and updated. We went to the dining room and through every room.

My father was here, as far as the care that he needed, it was not the proper facility for him, but it's overall not a bad place for someone who's a little bit more independent. The staff was good. His room was nice and decent sized. They provided him with a dresser and some other things that he needed. It was clean and the condition of the room was good. It was a private room, but he did share a bathroom. They had an ice cream social when I was there, which he was interested in, and they did that in the dining area. They have two separate living room areas where the residents can go to watch TV, but other than that, they don't have any other amenities.
