My dad moved in at Pineview Cottage last week. We chose it because of the friendly and helpful staff, its beautiful facility, and the nice location. They were attentive to us when we came in, answered all our questions immediately, and were very willing to show us any part of the facility. They introduced us to all the staff that would be handling the meals, the care, and the maintenance. Anything we asked about, they were right on top of it, answered it, and took care of it. There were some ongoing activities when we were there, and they showed us the other activities scheduled for the week. We saw some musicians playing for the residents while we were there.

For profit facility, I do not see that the individual is a priority. Isolated my friend from loved ones. Owner not trustworthy. I would not recommend this facility for anyone.

Pineview Cottage is the only one that we were able to actually tour. I like it's location, I like the owners, I like the fact that it's not a chain, and I like the fact that even though we're struggling with COVID right now, they were able to get us both in for an actual tour. It's a beautiful spot. It's a relatively new facility, so it's very clean, and very well kept. The rooms are spacious. We didn't talk a lot about their amenities; I don't have any idea about that at this point in time. It's location is easy to access. It's right across from an airport. The staff was very, very helpful. We were inside, we just checked out the rooms, but we didn't eat.
