My husband is a current resident of Springcreek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Our experience there is fair to good. He has been in three different homes since September. The only thing I have against them is that when you do your call button for the signal for the aide, it takes anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour. They're all like that.

I toured The Oasis at Adrian Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. My impression of the place was that it was cold, but the people were very nice. It looked like a jail to me and there was no courtyard. The staff that gave the tour was fine, she was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. They're the only ones that had any beds available that's why I visited there. They were busy doing something with the residents like coloring when I was there. It could be more colorful, it could be warmer, and they could have a courtyard. There are a lot of things that could be done to improve it.

Substandard care, facilities in terrible state of disrepair, unsanitary conditions, lack of engagement with patients, administer medications without approval and when I asked the GM/director about the facility conditions, he stated there was nothing he could do as requests for repairs we denied.

#1 Main issue is someone who works here kept taking my name and my sister's name off my dad's contact list without my mother's approval and adding my sister in law and her daughter who is not even my dad's biological granddaughter as first contacts. Even with a written directive by my mother who was to be on the list and their phone numbers, that was signed and dated by my mother. Which was to be just my parents four kids and my mother. Also verbally in person by my mother and over the phone multiple times. I have a very good belief who it was, just no proof. #2 My dad passed away 11/26/2020, we weren't notified until 12/16/2020 to pick up his belongings witch was tossed in a black trash bag with broken glass and stuff that belonged to someone else. #3 Another big issue is that someone that works there took and large fleece blanket that was hand made for my dad with something that my dad loved by a granddaughter who spent a lot of money and time to make it (and you cannot even get the material any longer)and replaced it with a plain red cheap throw that you can buy at walmart for just a few dollars. When it was realized that the blanket was missing the nursing home was notified immediately, as well as the manager and they made no attempt to find it or even look for it, ask staff to return it if they did take it no questions asked. When the nursing home was contacted by myself on my mother's behalf, all I ever got was a run around and told that the manager would call me back and never received a call from him or anyone else. Even when by chance that I did get a hold of someone some, they said that they would let my know at the end of the week and no call. Even the manager blew me off like it's no big deal and he didn't even care. Worse nursing home that I have ever been to! I would not send anyone there.

My wife was a resident for 3 months before she passed. The entire staff treated her with compassion and care. I sincerely thank them for making her stay as comfortable as possible.

The rooms are small but efficient. They're perfect for one person. The staff are very very friendly and go up and above to help out. I was really pleased with how everyone was always willing to do something for me. There's fun things to do like bingo, watch TV, play card games, etc. it really is a top-notch nursing home with you asked my opinion!!

My mom stayed in Magnumcare for a month. We received feedback from my mom that the food was really good. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable and on top of things. But the rooms were very small and there were activities occurring like doctor visits or physical therapies and other services that we weren't aware that were adding costs to the stay. That was disappointing to us. The only common area was in the cafeteria and some people tend to just stay there all the time.

My Father spend 5 years at the Tendercare of Adrian facility, The staff members of this facility treated my father as if he were their own family member or close friend. I feel that this facility is well kept, and is one of the main reasons my dad was placed an hour from home. He had bouts with anger after a brain aneurism, and the staff of the facility knew just how to deal with him. The nurse who seamed to love my dad the most was a man by the name of Chris. I thank all the staff member of Tendercare of Adrian for providing my dad with a family like setting, clean facility and the best of care.
