"Claremont Place is a wonderful home for my 90 year old mother with dementia. The attendants and other staff are caring and thoughtful. They all know Mom by name, even those who don't work in Memory Care directly, and treat her well. The rooms are good sized and clean, a good variety of meals are provided, snacks, games, and other activities are available during the day. One of the great things about their Memory Care section, is that the residents can go outside and walk or relax on their own in the nice-sized gated area. They also guide MC residents through cooking/baking activities a couple times a month, enjoying the resulting treats as a group. The community holds family events a few times a year (Mother's Day Tea & Father's Day activity, Easter Brunch, Fall event with petting zoo, Trunk or Treat at Halloween, Luau,etc). My children & grandchildren have enjoyed attending some of these events. My Mom has lived at Claremont Place in Memory Care for over two years now. I have never regretted this decision, as so many of the staff/caregivers treat her with the respect & affection she deserves."

"I like all the activities at Aqua Ridge of Montclair, as well as the socialization, and the fact that I don't have to cook. They have three meals a day in a restaurant-style setting. The staff was very friendly. They offer transportation to doctor appointments. They have exercise rooms and a hair salon (they have a person outside the community who comes in once or twice a week for that). The facilities were very clean and very pretty."

"We moved our mom here 1 1/2 years ago. The ladies and this facility are amazing. We would recommend them to anyone with a family member that has dementia. They treat everyone with dignity and respect. They have 24/7 care. They truly care for the residents in their care. "

"I was very impressed with Meridian at Chino. I like them. The facility is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and nice. The staff is very nice and friendly. Stacey, the director, was so knowledgeable and helpful. She's willing to work with families to place your parents there. If you have trouble with finances, they have some type of program that will assist families, so there won't be a financial burden on them, which I found great. They were wonderful. They are caring and willing to help anybody out. When I was in the office with Stacey, she offered me water, snacks, and things like that. I was able to tour the dining area, which is also beautiful. It looks like a fancy restaurant. The facility is like a beautiful resort when you walk in."

"My mother-in-law moved to Walnut Valley Senior Living Community. What I liked the best about this place is their staff and cleanliness. It's a very clean place and the staff is very friendly and right on point about exactly what's going on. They know everything. It's a very well-structured building. I've seen them put out bingo nights, They have other entertainment that goes on on the property. They have a big TV room with the ladies that are always sitting in there talking and there's a library. The activities are overall very good. The value for the money is good."

"I was over at Oakmont of Chino Hills assisted living yesterday. The facility was fantastic, and I thought it was beautiful. I took a friend with me, and she had the same impression. They had a lot more activities available, and that's why I liked it a lot better. I'm not familiar with looking for any senior homes but, in my opinion, this place gave me a lot more activities than I would ever even dream of. They had a facility for exercise available to people. I'm sure that all of the things that they were providing, I would have to pay extra for. A lot of the activities that I found attractive were not included in the basic living expenses, but they're something that I would want to do. I was just surprised and happy to know that some of the things that I would like to do are available to be done, even if they're not included in the regular fee for living there. The staff showed me the exercise room. They have special programs that you can do like gym activities which is one of the things that they offered that I was interested in. I like things that keep you healthy. The facility had extensive food services, where they had menus available to be shown for the 2 or 3 people who were taking the tour. They were attached to the wall so you can see what they serve for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also show you the special menu where you can order special food if you would like. We were taken on a tour of each floor, and the cafeteria was very large and it had several people there to serve you."

"I toured Oakmont of San Antonio Heights. They just seemed to have everything. The only issue is that it is very expensive. The staff was not only helpful, but they were good with my kids being there. They have a library. They have a doctor. They've got physical therapy. They've got a massage. They've got a movie theater. You name it, they got it. It is a great place if you can afford it."

"My mom loves Atria and so do I! The workers and residents are so sweet! I'm so happy that my mom enjoys the people, Chef made food, and fun activities throughout the day and night! Such a clean place and well designed. My favorite part is the weekly live entertainment! I love joining my mom in her activities whenever I visit. I feel so good knowing that my mom is being taken care of very well and she's very happy! My mom says she has the best room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful park. She LOVES watching pickle ball games from her comfortable balcony chair! From physical activities to mental activities to challenge the mind. To just pure fun!"

"My mom moved into Allara Senior Living. The caregivers are very attentive. The apartment that she's in is very nice and very modern. They clean once a week. They do laundry once a week. They have their meals at the restaurant. It's like a restaurant setting where they have a menu. And the food was good because I've eaten there as well. And my mom raves over the food. She likes it. The community is nice and everyone there is very friendly. They have entertainment. They have people who come in and sing and play music. They go on excursions, but my mom doesn't do that. The community facility is very well-kept and very well-groomed. Landscaping is very nice. There's ample parking."

"I visited Sunlit Gardens Assisted Living. The staff seemed nice, it's smaller, so it's like more personable. It's clean, and I like the area that it's at; out of all the places I have seen, this is the best area. It's in a good community, and it's in Rancho Cucamonga, so it's nice there around; the streets and the stores and the shops nearby are in a good area. They have bingo, exercises, and everything. It felt homey. The staff members were very nice and informative."

"Villagio at Capriana is a great community, but we have been going through some issues with addressing Mom's medications and agitation. Other than that, the staff has been attentive and very easy to communicate with. I've tried the food only when they have community events and it's been exceptional. The facility is beautiful with very well manicured and landscaped grounds. It's clean and safe. Their activities were the best that we had seen. They have a rich activities calendar and they do a good job with engaging a large majority of the residents in daily activities."

"Oakmont of Capriana is relatively small, like 100 people, and it's a CCRC, which is what we're looking for. In the independent living, the apartments were relatively large with high ceilings and they had nice views (the place we're looking at has a view of a garden and a koi pond). Then over beyond, there's a pool. It had all the amenities: the gym, the library, and things like that. The staff was all very helpful. Everybody was friendly. They responded to phone calls and they were just very good. We had great food there and we met with residents and talked with them. It was a good experience. They also do a great job with the cleanliness."

"Nice rooms. Great food. Caring staff. It is very beautiful. I have my aunt there, but I would not hesitate to live there myself. It's like living on a cruise ship."
