My mom is currently at The Village at Willow Crossings. She's been there over a year and a half now. She's in assisted living. Overall, they've been good to her. They provided the services that they said they would. They are a la carte. If your loved one needs more care, it does add up quickly. They are more expensive than the other places locally, but not that much more. The staff members are good. I don't want to say too much about the one that's actually in charge. She's very businesslike. My mom's room is enough for her. If your loved one needs assisted living, it's adequate. She does not have the one with the kitchen. I want to say food is good. I'm not going to say it's great food, but it's good food. They have a lawn. They try to put chairs out for people, especially during COVID to visit outside. They actually have an outdoor second story like deck area for their residents. Their dining area is nice. They have daily activities. If your loved one still is capable, they have outings at least once a month. The ladies there are terrific. Even the couple of guys that work there (that my sister and I have called) have taken care of things.

The Village at Willow Crossings was clean and nice and the people were friendly. The staff was friendly. The kitchen people were really friendly. I think what we found was, in assisted living, people seemed a lot more limited than we thought. There were a lot of people kind of staring at the wall, not doing anything. That's what we found and maybe that's true of a lot of these places because we only really went to one. It just seemed like their residents weren't very active and the rooms were super small. They had groups like coffee groups. Not a lot was going on when we visited, but they gave us the schedule. It seemed like there was a bar there. They had a pool there, which we were interested in. My dad's 85 and he wanted to use the pool, but it seemed like he couldn't do it on his own. He couldn't just go in the pool. There would have to be a lifeguard there. It just seemed like a big production. He wouldn't be free to just use the pool when he wanted to and at that time, they didn't have staff to do it, so the pool was closed. That was kind of discouraging. If someone were more limited than my dad or less independent, it would be different. For someone who's independent, I'd give it three stars.

The Village at Willow Crossings was a terrific place. It was the greatest place you could imagine. I only met two of the staff members. One was the manager, the other was walking the floors, and they were both great. We talked to some of the residents and they loved the staff, too. You could get a single room or a shared room, depending on what you want. The place was almost brand new. It was clean as a whistle and it was very nicely laid out. It was long and it covered a lot of areas, which would be a little difficult for my mom because she couldn't walk that far.

The Village at Willow Crossings was very nice. It's a little bit more assisted living and not as much as a memory care unit. It wasn't bright and cheery. The place was very well kept up. It just didn't seem like a place that had enough for Alzheimer's patients like someplace for them to use their minds. The staff were great. They showed everything. They were late. They were not on time, but not that late. The rooms were a little on the dark side. They were well set up for somebody who needed help. The windows weren't large enough and weren't airy enough, but it was nicely laid out. The rooms were good. They had a bedroom, they had a separate room for entertaining, and they had a bathroom. Same as all of them, it just wasn't large at all. It's on the small side. I didn't see anyone doing any activities. They were sitting. There was one group out there and that was it. The dining area was small. Everything was well done. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

The Village at Willow Crossings was beautiful. It's too expensive, but aesthetically it's pretty. I toured the independent and assisted. The staff during the tour was very good, very friendly and very nice. The food was very good. The facility seemed very nice, very warm, cozy, and livable. They have a gym, a salon, and a dining room. They have everything.

The Village at Willow Crossings was an awesome place. My mother didn't like it as much because it was so big. She thought she would get lost, and she was a little bit overwhelmed at the size of it. It was beautiful, and I loved everything about it actually. The woman who had given us a tour was lovely. She had all the answers, and she was great. I have nothing bad to say about her. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave us a water and cookie, and it was good. The place was beautiful. It's a big place, but it's kind of divided into sections. She gave us a tour of the whole thing. The rooms were good. We saw the studios, and they were nice and clean. They were a little small for my taste. They had an exercise area there and a library. The outdoor space was very nice. I loved it. To me, it's near where we live. We had lived in Mansfield for many years, so we were familiar with the town and everything around there. It's close to the major highways. There is not a hospital close, and that was actually pretty tragic because of a lot of the communities that went there. It was maybe 30 minutes from the hospital.

My mother lived at The Willows for 13 years, first in a cottage, then asst living, and finally in memory care. It was a caring, compassionate facility who knew all the family members. Mom connected with another resident and they spent a lot of time together, to the benefit of both. Staff knew that if Mom wasn't in her room or on her porch, to go to her buddy's room to find her there. Mom had many physical limitations which meant she needed intimate care (bathing, incontinence, etc). The staff were always respectful and caring. Many of the staff have been there for years, which speaks volumes for the working environment, little turnover. They know the residents and the residents know them. Mom's final days were in memory care. Again, top notch staff, interacting with residents as people, not as children. They had many activities which they encouraged participation but didn't require it. One resident asked what she had for lunch EVERY DAY. And every day, staff would answer her as if it were the first time she asked. I couldn't have asked for a better environment for my mother's last 13 years. The cottages were great, assisted living phenomenal, and memory care so very compassionate. Highly recommended. I hope my senior years will be as stimulating and happy as my mother's were.

My father had a beautiful apartment in the Assisted Living area before moving to the Memory Care Unit. His room there is nice as well. The staff is incredible, very caring and committed. There are so many activities from brain exercises to the dull men's coffee group and happy hour in the pub! There are many offsite activities as well like shopping and dining out. In terms of amenities, my father enjoyed playing pool in the common area! Others enjoy the computers and clubhouse and Beauty Salon. Most of all he loved the fact that they let him eat chocolate ice cream whenever he wanted it (breakfast, lunch, dinner). And he did that in the Memory Care Unit for as long as he had an appetite.

My tour at The Village at Willow Crossings was excellent. I waited in the lobby which had nice stairs, and we went into a side room that was used as a library. I got an excellent description of what they offer. Then I got a tour of their sample room and the cafeteria. The room is an apartment. I also saw a pub, and a community private room where you could host a party or a dinner there. There was a place where you pick up snacks like juice or tea during the day, it's a part of the cafeteria but a little bit separate. I saw where they had the beauty parlor, and they told me they had people that came in like a foot doctor, a dentist, and etcetera. And the staff who assisted me was really nice, energetic, organized, and knowledgeable. The place looked nice and clean, and it was well-kept.

The Village at Willow Crossings has very nice 1- and 2-bedroom independent little houses that you can live in, and they maintain them for you. They have a wonderful dining room where you can eat at for a very reasonable charge. They have knitting clubs, book clubs, bridge clubs, swimming, and exercise clubs. The pricing is competitive with other places I've looked at.

The Village at Willow Crossings is very nice. It’s a very pleasant environment. The people there were very friendly. I like their program. They had a lot of activities. In general, it just seemed like a place where my husband could be very comfortable, and it is close to my house, which makes a big difference. We observed the dining area. I didn’t eat, but the food looked very good. When I was there, they were doing a relaxation exercise.

My mom is at The Village at Willow Crossings in the independent living area which they call The Cottages. It's an over-55 community. The apartments have garages and some with screened-in porches. It's a wonderful, very nice place with OK services. It has a pool, a place called The Clubhouse, and rooms where they play cards.

I've been to The Village at Willow Crossings, and it was a very good visit. It's a nice community because it has an assisted living building, as well as independent residences, so it's a nice and unique community that way. It's clean and homey.

The last one we visited was the Willow Crossings, and they were lovely, except they were very expensive. The staff was excellent, and they were very informative, friendly, and answered all our questions directly. I felt like they were very forthright and helpful. We were really pleased with them. There was plenty of room, and it was a nice one-bedroom apartment, nothing special about it. Their option for a balcony or patio was a nice option for those who could afford it, and the location was nice. The grounds seemed nice. It looked very pleasant, not crowded, homey, and attractive. They have trips, an indoor swimming pool, exercise programs, outings, and things like that. To me, it was very similar to any of the places that we've looked at. I only wish they were less expensive.

We looked at Willow Crossing (The Village at Willow Crossing). I thought the staff was great. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. They were lovely. They had different activities. They had bingo, shopping, and a little tavern. I liked that there were variety of things that I thought would interest my parents.

I went to The Village at Willow Crossings to see what's available. It's a beautiful place, but you have to buy into it as far as I know, and my cousin is not in any kind of financial authority to do that. I think once you buy into it, if you become incapacitated, you can go across to the other facility. That was my understanding. It was out of her price range anyway. It's clean; it's new. I was very pleased with that, but it's not for the poor people. I was treated very well. The staff was personable and answered all of my questions. They showed me all the assisted homes, and they were beautiful too. The whole place is very nice visually. It's very lovely. It's a nice complex. If I have the money, I might consider it. I didn't see anything negative there at all. They were going to lunch when I got there. I got to see the menu, and their dining room was excellent. The place was home-like.

I liked best the surroundings of The Village at Willow Crossings. The help is very good, very caring. It is clean, and the food is very good. They bring out the meals for the day and show them to the residents for a visual, and then they choose what they want. The dining room is clean. My grandmother shares her room with another woman, and it's clean. The staff seems to be treating everybody like they are family.

I thought The Village at Willow Crossings was beautiful. They have a lot of activities. People would come in to speak, and they have a lot of places that residents could go. So if someone was very capable and wanted to be involved and engaged in things, they have a lot to offer. The residents looked generally happy. The staff seemed to interact with them in a very positive way. The dining room was beautiful. The facility was beautiful. It was a new place, and it was gorgeous. More important to me was the fact that the atmosphere between the staff and the residents I found to be very good. That was a very good visit. Overall, if I have to pick one, that would have been my choice, but it was expensive.

My father has moved in to The Village of Willow Crossing. The staff there are wonderful. They take good care of the residents there especially my father. They have trips like they go out shopping. For the men, they go out once a month. They have a pub there. There are people who come in and sing. They just have a lot of different activities. The rooms are like apartments with small kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. Some of them have patio out the back. They keep you informed of everything; they always email me or call me.

The Village at Willow Crossings was cited by one of the visiting nurses who is caring for me. I visited this place with my daughter-in-law. It couldn't have been a more welcoming place. It was immaculate and spacious. My daughter-in-law, who is a nurse, was equally impressed with it. You can tell that it's very well run because no one is knocking themselves out to impress you. They were very explicit about their services and they didn't bog it up by using a lot of adjectives. I like best the openness and receptivity there of their residents there. We had lunch with them. They came in quietly, sat in their usual tables and had conversations. The servers were magnificent, polite and helpful. Food was good. As you enter their dining facility, they have set out the main meal of the day, but they also have a wide scope of choices. The staff was very professional. In fact, all the personnel were extremely welcoming. They know what they're doing and they do it effortlessly. They allowed me to be a professional too, which was very gratifying. There was no talking down to me. I noticed that they put the name of each of their tenants in their front door. It's like being in a house with your own identity. It's nothing big, but it's very important to know that you're a resident whose name is being seen like everyone else in the facility. It's a small matter but it is delightful. They did have activities there. Their days were full. They even have a swimming pool. The only thing that worries me about this place is the cost because it is steep. I wonder if I could live there and what would happen when you run out of money, especially when I don't qualify as needy. They understand that that can happen and they do have a plan. They did explain to me their policy about that.

The Village at Willow Crossings also had assisted living and a nursing home, aside from independent living. They had many, many people working there who were outstanding. They had a restaurant, a pool, a library, a TV, a large meeting area. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.

The Village at Willow Crossings was a very lovely place but it was very expensive. Everybody was very nice but it was too costly for me. I couldn't afford it. They also didn't have a nursing facility. They did have assisted living and personal service planned, etc., and everything that they list has a per day cost, not monthly. I saw the whole place. They were all very nice and everything was lovely there. My daughter went with me and she was just as impressed as I was. Their residents were very nice and very friendly.

The Village is lovely and clean. The problem is my husband and I would need two places, one for him and one for me and that's out of our means right now. The rooms are just very lovely to look at. The staff seemed kind and caring.

There is a wonderful staff who take a genuine interest in each resident. The activity director provides a variety of activities, guest speakers, trips and even classes for the residents to take part in. There is a gym,an ice cream parlor,a beauty salon, arts and crafts room for the residents to enjoy. There is also a card room, pool table, pub,as well as a library and computers. The head of the dining program is wonderful and she takes pride in her facility along with the food that is served. The dining room is more like a restaurant dining experience for the residents.Going to visit is like going to a hotel. There is a nurse who is readily available for residents day or night.

I was incredibly impressed with my mother's time at The Village at Willow Crossing. All staff was very personable and overall friendly. I was greeted every time I walked through the doors by a friendly receptionist. My mother loved living here, they had so many activities for her to do and there was never really a dull moment at this assisted living. Whenever there was family visiting and we had a large party the facility would always provide us with a room where visiting could take place. They catered to almost all of her needs whether it be boredom or something that she needed or how she wanted her food served. She made friends with all the staff and truly loved her stay there. With the death of her husband, she needed to be somewhere where she could wind down and the Village provided her with that. Overall, I give it 4 stars.
