Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie takes care of all my medical needs. They transport me to my doctors' appointments and they provide physical therapy. I got a shared room. They are the ones changing/making my bed and cleaning up the room. It's as close to a family as you could probably get. The staff is really good. They're very friendly and real kind. I think they go out of their way. The food they have is just not the type of food I eat, but the place is exceptional, and the people I have to deal with every day are exceptional. I think what I'm paying and what they're charging is a wide spectrum. So, I think I'm getting a lot from my money.

So far, not good. I will be going back there this afternoon with supplies necessary to give my husband a badly needed sponge bath. He arrived from the hospital, unbathed, 2 days ago and has been in the same shirt since then, even though he has a supply of clean clothes in his room. Today is Sunday and he's been informed that his 'shower day' is not until Tuesday. Quite frankly, he reeks and he knows it. What a total lack of respect for the dignity of a human being...especially for that of my husband who is a 100% Disabled Veteran with health issues that have arisen from exposure to Agent Orange while he served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. - *Given his current situation, my husband's kidney dialysis port may well be at risk of infection. If less likely to fall and if I could lift him or successfully help him to get back up on his own, then he would be at home now with professionals coming to us. PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT HOLD DIRECT CARE STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDITIONS IN THIS PLACE. The current owners and our government's twisted financial priorities are to blame. ALSO, Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie has on-site dialysis available. Apparently transport from this place to my husband's nearby dialysis center was not a consideration and so he has ended up here at one of the few available options. Oh, almost forgot. Guidelines! The building-both exterior and interior- looks clean. Furnishings are old but look clean. Staff I've met are friendly and helpful.

I would give Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie a zero. The nurses do not know how to speak English and they give incorrect medicine to residents. Everyone that works there is from agencies and they don't care. The place is filthy. My mother got sores because they did not change her diaper for 12 hours. Her room's walls are painted green with peeling paint all over them. The curtains are ripped up at the window and the floor is filthy dirty. The furniture in here is all broken.

My mother was a resident here and it was okay for a while then the employees where very un-respectful and rude. The food was terrible. They left my mother sitting in a wheelchair with nothing on from the waist down while the girl that was suppose to be helping her was on her cell phone. No one would return you calls if and when you got through. I wish I had never sent my mother there. She has since passed away and god rest her soul. I would never, never refer this place to anyone even my worst enemy.

My friend was here for a month. If I could give MINUS stars I would! The shared bathrooms are disgusting. SOME of the staff truly try while others do nothing! In fact while my friend was sleeping, an employee threw her dentures away..they were in the proper container and marked with her name. A form was given to them whicb they immediately filled out. They promised to take care of the matter ASAP. They have not returned phone calls nor made any attempt to reimburse or rectify this matter. Do not stay here! My friend will have to pursue further avenues to get their dentures replaced. THIS IS DISPICABLE!

The worst place ever… I would not send my dogs to this place. Long term is nothing but neglect… there lazy lazy employees they live your love ones sitting in diapers for hours and hours , they ruff handle the patients they do not check vitals as often as they say. I have not seen this place to one activity in the year my loved one has been there. The place is dirty and nasty the staff are lazy and mean. These patients sit in bed all day with no water at all they ignore call bells. I have not one good thing to say about this place. NEGLECT is all I see every time I visit

My parents are both in this so called nursing facility. Not only are they not being tended to. They are not being given there meds in a timely fashion. The physical therapy they require is not given. When it is given it is below subpar. The staff in this facility doesn't care about there patients. Have called supervision several times with no response.

A comfortable room was provided and he really enjoyed the social center room which gives lots of opportunity to socialize with others. He was in three other centers prior to this and liked this one most. Responsiveness to needs was good but not great, that said most other centers I've visited are much worse. All in all a good place which I would recommend.

I've visited this facility and it was pretty good. the GNA's are great but one specifically stood out the most always had a smile on her face and made me feel happy while being there Antonique M. she took care of my mom on the Chesapeake unit and my mom absolutely loved her. the nurses are fine but i think they are quiet lazy and dont take action as they should. they dont answer lights i just observed they gave meds and left no compassion for their patients.

This facility was a huge disappointment. From the smell of urine, dirty room and dingy looking dark environment to the cold unpalatable food to the poor care and lack of care given by the nursing staff. I have absolutely nothing good to report about this place. Called the supervisor and Called the administrator left messages and never received calls back. Pls do your research and go view these facilities before sending your loved one there. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

To All At Glen Burnie Health And Rehabilation Center Thank you for your kindness and your caring. Thank you for your help in all things. You taught me to walk again or a least how to move my leg. Thanks for getting me up and down the stairs, and in and out of the tub. Thanks to all the staff for all you do. Each department is important. It takes many spokes to hold a wheel together and have it turn. This is something you seemed to have learn. Until we meet again, Good-bye Kathleen D Viger, Ph.D.

Please dont bring your loved ones here. They domt care about the residents here. Borderline neglect. Wouldnt let my loved one leave because they couldnt walk and "needed more inpatient physical therapy". Now we owe a good sum of money.

My sister was in there, got a bad infection, was moved to a private room and died. The few times she was given physical therapy the staff never assisted her, actually they just talked to one another or read a magazine. I was there one day and she had her back to my sister and was reading. She had no idea if she was complying with the exercise routine.

This place is horrible. Put my 93 year old incompetent grandmother in a cab today and sent her home to an empty house. My grandmother was in a gown and diaper. Nobody there at the house and no food in the house. These people do not care. Social worker there is horrible.. still love to know who paid for the cab. GMA had no money on her. Incompetent to sign her own medical papers but all of a sudden GMA must of got her mind back over night. Miracle workers!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONE HERE!!! THEY DO NOT CARE. How do you put an incompetent patient in a cab.

My husband stayed in Glen Burnie Health And Rehabilitation Center after his knee replacement. I was happy that the place was very clean, and it didn't smell like a nursing facility. The biggest problem was that there wasn't enough staff. One staff for twelve patients just wasn't good because in any particular time there might be something going on. He was there twice. It was great. The staff was very friendly, but it was just that there wasn't enough staff especially on the weekends. For someone who could speak for himself and could ring the bell, it was fine, but not for someone who had memory issues.

The worse.. Why have a call button for nurses and you have to wait a half hour.. It smells really bad and more rude people than nice.. My daughter wanted out immediately..if you can't stay with your loved ones don't let them stay here.

My daughter had an occasion to stay at the Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center for rehab after breaking her leg. The facility is well-maintained and welcoming. She was provided with excellent rehab assistance and the appropriate equipment that she needed to recover. Great place!

My wife was at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center for two days. Bad smell to it. The rooms that I saw were doubles. The staff was extremely accommodating; I know that my wife complimented them on that. My impression of the facility was depressing.

My mother was at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center. She has a nice private room with a couple of chairs and a small table where I could spend the day with her. I thought the help was excellent. The rehab was very good, and the people were very efficient. The food was delicious. We were happy with it.

My wife stayed for a while in Glen Burnie. I think the staff there was excellent. My wife was in a room shared with another patient. Her room was average, and the food was good. They served it to the room, but the the patient had the option to go to the dining room. They had activities everyday. My wife was getting physical rehab and occupational rehab. Over all, I would recommend this facility.
