During my visits here the location was always very understaffed but the staff there was very friendly and helpful. The residents were well taken care of and appreciated visits from animals such as cats, dogs, and even a horse! I'm not sure if this is healthy for everyone because some people have allergies but it certainly helps morale. Residents who could participate got to play games like bingo and received healthy snacks like bananas, apples, or crackers. The food was typical hospital type food but none of the residents seemed to mind and were very grateful for help from staff and volunteers. The rooms and facility in general appeared clean every time I visited. The front desk was only monitored some of the time so while people were supposed to be checked in and out this did not always happen. Which would make it possible for unwanted visitors to enter or residents to leave without anyone else aware. The dining area was one large table where all the residents joined together and had great conversation during meals and enjoyed each others company.
