Tanglewood Rehab was great. I liked the facility. The management was superb, and the people really helped me out and taught me how to walk again. They took us on shopping trips and played bingo.

Protect your loved ones at all cost. Do not send them there if you can avoid it. If you can't visit them everyday until you get them out of there. They are very uncaring and dismissive of your concerns.

Tanglewood Nursing and rehabilitation Topeka This place is full of negative issues within the staff that are above the floor workers,. I was lied to by Conner saying it was their policy but it was not as Conner was enforcing something that was not correct, then also lied about my loved ones room ,says it is clean and sanitized, well it was far from that it smelled had poop under the lid of the bedside toilit bugs alive in bed side table drawers, they had no water for my loved one, nurse did or server to the patients had no gloves facemask and was coughing 3 feet away from my loved ones face with out covering her mouth AND my loved one has no idea the filth she's in because she's blind,

My mother moved into Tanglewood Nursing and Rehabilitation in July as a rehab patient, and they ended up keeping her. It is nice, and most of the time it is clean. She has a small, shared room which has a bed and a small nightstand. There is a lot of staff on hand who are very friendly and helpful, so there is always somebody to help you. They have something going on all the time; they do Bingo, they do fancy fingers where they paint the women's fingernails, and they do current events where somebody reads them the newspaper and they talk about it. When it is nice out, they take them outside. They have a patio and a swing, and they go on walks. Once a month, they can go out to eat to a restaurant, or they might take a group to like Wal-Mart to shop. The food is OK. I would recommend this facility. Some of the cleaning staff aren't as thorough as they should be.
