"My dad is a resident of Good Samaritan Society - Olathe. He's in a very caring community. He has adjusted quite well, considering he was very adamant that he was never going to leave his home. He was going to die in his home. The staff, have stepped up and they take wonderful care of him. He's very appreciative of the care that they are providing him. He just brags about the staff and how good they are. He's in a semi-private room. It's pretty spacious. We were able to make his room as homelike as possible with pictures and things like that, so it's not institutional-looking. He does have a shared bathroom. They've got a main dining room. He gets up and goes to the dining room three times a day. They have activities throughout the day that he is encouraged to participate in. He prefers to stay in his room, but the staff is good about checking in on him, and they visit with him. He feels like this is home now."

" I was out touring facilities in the area and stopped to visit Royal Terrace it was not as I had heard. I was glad I made the stop. The facility was neat a very clean with friendly staff the Admissions department was great. Don't believe everything you hear! Stop in I am sure they will be just as great to you as they were for me. "

"I cannot say enough great things about the Golden Living Center in Spring Hill Kansas. My Mother has resided there for 1 1/2 years. I visit her every week as do my brother and sister. I have always found this facility to be run by very caring, well educated, and positive nature d people. This facility has a "small town" atmosphere which is great for my Mom coming from a small town. I have yet to walk into Golden Living that I don't see a smile at every corner. A new director (Tom) has recently taken over this facility and I have heard great things about him. It is a very clean facility, but most importantly it has a wonderful staff. "

"I have visited here recently and I think that out of a lot of places I have visited this is one of the tops. They seem to be going under some changes from staff to quality of care for residents and making it a more home-like environment. As this does take time I can see that the process has started and I know it's going to go in a great Direction. "

"I volunteered at this assisted living facility and was amazed at the kindness of those that worked there and those that lived there. While there I helped to clean prepare food, and serve food. The people would give me food after I helped pass it out, and they always made me feel welcome. I looked forward to coming and volunteering at this assisted living facility. That's how I spent a lot of my days after school was going to the assisted living home and helping out. If I had to recommend this assisted living home then I would give it a perfect score in terms of hospitality and and comfort ability. They didn't make those who lived there feel like they were old or needy, they made them feel welcome, and they made me feel welcome. This place is all around a great place to spend the rest of your life in and has tons of friendly people that want to better your living experience. "

"My dad lived at Evergreen for 2 years and received WONDERFUL care. Staff is kind and competent, not a lot of turnover or temps, and Directors are good at communicating. They let the resident live on their own schedule and everything is personalized. The facility is homey, not fancy. The only drawback was that dad had a roommate which didn't bother him a bit but his room was very small and it was uncomfortable for us when we visited. Evergreen worked great with dad's hospice provider and when he died, all the Evergreen residents and staff lined the hallway as a final send off. It was very moving and I will always appreciate everything they did for my dad."

"My husband and I visited the facility on Sunday, January 8th, 2017. We were very impressed...clean, staff was very friendly and answered our questions. If they didn't have the answers, they referred us to Lisa. Mike was an excellent tour guide. We are hoping to move my parents from Cedar Rapids, IA to Villa St. Francis, once there are openings as family members live in the K.C. area. "

"The Aberdeen Village facility in Olathe, Kansas is exceptional. The pleasing environment, well-planned accomodations and professional clinical staff have given us the confidence and assurance that our loved one is being cared for at the highest level of clinical service possible. It is very apparent that Aberdeen Village's mission is to meet the needs of their patients. "

"I had a family member stay at the Wellsville Manor facility last year. The staff at this facility was really great. I felt that they really cared about the residents, and that is was not just another job to them. They quickly learned my family member's preferences and did what they could to make her stay as enjoyable as possible. They were extremely patient, kind and understanding. The Wellsville Manor had many activities for the residents. They had things like musical performances, arts and crafts, and bingo. This helped our family member fill the long days until we could come for a visit. The Wellsville Manor also had a van that was used to transport residents to doctor's appointments and other activities. This was a great convenience to the family to not have to worry about how to get our family member to the doctor as she was now in a wheel chair. "

"We toured Hillside Village. The rooms were a nice size room with a walk-in closet, and that's the only one that had a walk-in closet. It's very clean and very homey. They did everything possible. They worked with us. They told us everything. She was very good and helpful."

"We visited Santa Marta last summer, and it was wonderful. I have friends who live there. It was beautiful and clean. Their food menu was very desirable; it’s like going into a restaurant and you can order what you want. They have activities for the residents. My friends love it there. "

"My wife is in Medicalodges Eudora. It's a small town family. Everybody is quite nice. They have in-house rehabilitation and a beauty shop. The staff is very friendly, cordial, and welcoming. The dining area is clean and nice. She's in a standard room with a hospital bed in it, two closets, built-in drawers, and a separate bathroom with a sink and a stool."
