"My mom is now living in The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island. It is a new facility, about a year old. It has an ocean front view and a boat dock. It's beautiful and the décor is marvelous. The best thing about it is the people who work there are very kind. Overall, the level of care has been really outstanding and they do a good job building relationships with the people who live there. The staff is really marvelous. The food is really good and they have a nice buffet on Sundays. In the event of a hurricane, they have rooms reserved in advance, so they're taking the people in a hotel. We're very satisfied."

"Bloom at Belfair was lovely and very good. The girl, Susan, who gave us the tour was excellent. The dining area was great, but the rooms were on the small side and there wasn't a whole lot of closet space. It was very clean and every person we met was very friendly. It seemed to have a lively atmosphere. "

"My husband has been at Sprenger Health Care Bluffton for 2 weeks now. It is a nice and clean place in a nice location. The health staff is a little stressed because there aren't enough of them, but the nurses are great. The coordinator is really good. The food isn't too bad. They're very diligent about the food. They're very interested in their residents' tolerability of certain foods and their diet in general. The doctors are good. If you have an issue, they will call the doctor, and the doctor always calls back. Overall, it's a good place. They're all private rooms, at least for the rehabilitation part. They have their own private bathroom. They have a refrigerator, and there's plenty of drawer space and closet space. They just had a trio recently playing music there. They do bingo, church services, watermelon socials, and ice pop socials. Everybody is welcome to participate, even the family members. They have common areas like a little chapel, a courtyard, and a beautiful dining area."

"We have three golf courses at Sun City Hilton Head, tennis, our own library, and a hall that shows movies. It's quite a nice place. We have our own houses that are pretty well built for retirees because it's a 55+ community. It's laid out very well and runs like a small city. "

"The least I liked about Sunabella Senior Living is they have two separate buildings, one for memory care, and one for assisted living, and they do a little bit more in one building, so if the residents don't go to the other building they might miss something, Overall, I think it's a very beautiful location in Savannah. The facility was clean. The room sizes were nice. The staff was wonderful, showing me the different rooms and the sizes, and how they could walk outside in a garden. It was very spacious. The residents have nice places to sit and places to walk inside and outside. I've met a couple of the staff members, as well as the management who showed me around. They were very nice and very informative. They had a studio bedroom and one bedroom. The rooms were great and had a very nice layout."

"The Social at Savannah was nice, but they're not in our range, and it's too far from what we gotta do. It's a nice community. It had very nice upkeep. It's a small room. They have a library and a social room. They always have something going on. The person that talked to me was pretty good. The dining area was nice. The atmosphere was quiet."
