The second older lady was much more experienced, and she's very good as well. She's got the knowledge, and she knows what she has to do and what I have to do. I'm very happy so far. "I am using Seniors Helping Seniors - Beaufort County for my mom. It's non-medical, and mostly they stay with my mom. My mom is 91, she has dementia, and they help with her care. She's in adult diapers. She doesn't see well. They also do some light housekeeping, which I don't mind. For the most part, they're there for her, and that's all I really care about, is that I have somebody here watching my mom. So, I can go out and do the things I need to do and not have to worry that she's going to get out of the house and wander around on the street. They are always in contact with me. They always help me out. They were good about following through and making sure everything was OK. So, I haven't really had a problem. I like them a lot. They are always checking in on me, trying to make sure I get everything I need."

"We have someone with Senior Helpers of Hilton Head to care for my mom. We are overjoyed, first of all, to have the help. The caregiver, Hilda, just has a great personality that when she walked in, it was very comforting. I feel the warmth when she's here and she's just a blessing to us. She's very attentive to my mom and even though I still want to go after her and help, she'll jump right in and take over. I had to learn to back off and it felt good to do that. It's exactly what we needed in our life right now with my mom. I haven't had any issues with billing and scheduling. We're new to it but we haven't had an issue at all. We have a schedule every day throughout the week, we have a time set, and Hilda is always here on time so I never have to worry about that. That's been a plus because it just means a lot to know that they're going to be there right when you need them or expect them. Hilda does just the basic stuff like going into the bathroom and the usual sitting part, being someone there to sit with my mom and keep her company. She has Alzheimer's so it means a lot for us to have the same person every day. She already knows Hilda and she knows she's going to be here. There's a chair where they sit right beside each other and they talk together. They immediately hit it off so I didn't have any issues."
