My mom is in Cedarhurst of Springfield, IL right now. We're very pleased with it. In the beginning, it was kind of an issue trying to figure out her schedule and their schedule, but we're good now. She's on respite care at the assisted living. When we go in, we take our temperatures, and then we use the sanitizer and wear masks at all times. I think $6,000 a month is expensive, but I know that there's nothing that can be done about that.

Cedarhurst of Springfield IL seemed like you had to walk long distances to get anywhere, and my mom just didn't click with the person who gave us the interview. Cleanliness was fine. They have a dining area. They talked about activities. They had a nice outdoor patio.

Cedarhurst of Springfield was gorgeous and had everything you needed. They took me into some of the resident's rooms, showed me the layout, and they did a great job. The rooms were very spacious, very clean, and very organized. The dining area was also very nice. They even had a big fireplace. They showed me the outside gardens, the rec room, the Jacuzzi tubs that they could attend or make appointments for, craft rooms, and other areas. It's a beautiful place. The staff was very well organized, very accommodating, and very courteous. It was a very nice facility and you get what you pay for, but the price was just too high for my mom's budget.

Cedarhurst of Springfield was very, very nice. My sister has a little puppy dog and they said OK to that, and she can drive her car. We just thought we liked them. She will be in a one-bedroom, which isn't just a big room. She'll have a room with a bedroom, and then she'll have her kitchen, the bathroom, and the living room. I thought it was very very nice. They have a nice square outside and they can walk around out there.

Cedarhurst of Springfield was totally comparable to the other place I visited. They're about the same age, they're brand new, their facilities are lovely, and they're furnished beautifully. The executive director met us and he spent lots of time with us, and answered lots of questions. He was a very personable man. They had some one-bedroom apartments available, which were very, very nice. We saw the cafeteria and there were people eating, but we didn't. That was a Saturday morning and there were some activities going on. In the living area and kind of kitchen area, there were ladies stuffing peppers with cream cheese, and they had just baked a pie. And that part of the activity was quite active. There's a lady that was working with the women that were involved in the cooking activity. They have a movie room, a beauty shop, and everything that you could want. They give you transportation to wherever you need to be, and they take care of your medications.

Cedarhurst of Springfield is very nice and everybody there seems nice as well. The staff has been very helpful. When we moved my dad there, we took him to the door and they took him to his room and helped us set it up. It's a very clean community and the apartment he moved in was all new. The location itself was very nice as well.

I can't wait to tell you all about Cedarhurst! My parents were living at the Arlington of Naples Florida, and we thought that was good. Then we moved them to Springfield (back home) That's when we found AMAZING! Becky W. had us "cradled with care" from the first phone call! ( my sisters and I being skeptics thought "this will end after the first check" ) instead Cedarhurst has become family! Every single member of the team knows and cares about my mom ( dad since passed away) and genuinely looks out for her wellbeing. This matters a lot because my sisters and I live across the country. (UT,MN,TN) If you choose Cedarhurst you will be happy, cared for, and find your family has grown!

I went to Cedarhurst of Springfield. It was very unorganized because they just opened. The guy that was supposed to give us a tour had forgotten he had an appointment so we got a quick tour from another employee. I was not impressed by the room size because they were very small. They were like studio apartments. It was really unorganized because they were still trying to get themselves together as far as opening of the place. Regardless, it was beautiful and brand new. They have a movie theater.

Cedarhurst of Springfield has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and very helpful during our tour. My parents have a two-bedroom apartment. The facility has one- and two-bedrooms in the assisted living portion, and they have studio apartments in their memory care. They go on outings. Yesterday they went to a local restaurant for lunch. They also have regular activities like card clubs and dominoes. They go on some excursions, they have church services, and they have a beauty shop and a movie theater.

Cedarhurst of Springfield was a little bit older, but nice. The manager was nice, and I saw a little bit of the interactions with the people. It had steps, and it had elevators. The manager was attentive, and she was accommodating.
