My wife of 57 years is at this facility and I would rate it A+. The staff is loving, caring, professional and consistent. I visit her every day and feel this is the best place she could be at.

Encore Memory Care at South Barrington looks like a fine facility. It's small. There are only 40 residents so they are better attuned. So, we feel they could work with mom better at this stage. It's a fine facility. It looks clean. The personnel/staff is very good at this point. They are professional and attentive. They have mom out sitting up daily, which is important. They don't want her sitting in the room all day or lying in the room. They have an activity advisor and they get the people that are there to participate. So, that's a good thing.

Our experience having my father-in-law here was good. They met our expectations. Their amenities are good. The rooms are big and accessible, as well as the bathrooms and the dining room. They have a nice living room. Their dining area is not that big and not that small; it's just the right size for the amount of people that they have. They have staff there to help them. They play bingo and music. They have a band or something that plays there.

I visited this facility
I visited for my wife. The staff was very good. The facility was nice and clean. It was spacious and well lit. I didn't try the food. The security was topnotch. They had a lot of group activities plus individual level activities. They have places where they can go outside. It was a secure area. The dining room was very nice. They would assist the people if they need it. What I like most about the place is that the staff was nice. It was a nice and clean facility.
