Gary 2022-04-20 We went to Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates The facility there is older, but very well kept up, and the rooms are fairly large. There were several double room suites. Probably the nicest of any that we had seen in any of the other places, but it was two stories. The units were on the second floor and the first floor. The staff was very enthusiastic and bubbly. She did a nice job of showing us the units and describing their program. The food was excellent. We just had one lunch there, and that was good. They had computer areas, they had an exercise room with machines, and they also had a games room. It's very well supplied. The atmosphere was good. They were very attentive to the residents. As we were touring one suite, the resident fell and bumped her head and the person that was conducting the tour had someone there immediately to help. It was very expensive. I visited this facility

We chose it because it's close to home, so family and friends can come and see them. The staff was great answering questions. They have lots of activities. She sells the place well. We only saw one room, but it was great, and I would have chosen this place for my husband if he was ready. Pam 2021-08-21 We had a great tour of Karcher Estates. We liked the gal that we talked to, Carla, she was great. It was a good experience. The available apartments were both clean and would be acceptable as far as our dad living there. They were nice, and Carla was very connected to all the residents that were out and about. Even though we were there to do the tour, she acknowledged each person, and if they came up to her, she took the time to speak to them and be friendly with them. That's a lot to me as far as the fact that they just were not invisible. She knew a lot about each one as far as what their likes were. So, that told us a lot. Their menu looked very substantial. They still have the plexiglass up on the tables and it looked like they had just two people per table right now. We were wanting our dad to have as much social stimulation as possible, and that could change. We realized that COVID has played a big part in that. I visited this facility

It's an older building so there isn't much really that they can do, though they're doing the best they can when it comes to cleaning and stuff. We only met the administrator and didn't meet some of the staff. The part of the community that we saw was clean. I visited this facility

I did not think it would be a positive experience, but it ended up being 3,000 times better than what I thought. They did an absolutely fantastic job. There offer therapy, have a walking path, tours and outings for them, a pool hall, and the library there is absolutely fantastic. I like the way the residents greeted us. They were all very friendly. The facilities looked great. The laundry room was great. I visited this facility

They explained it all very well, gave us copies of the menu, and gave us prices. They have movies, their own driver, weekly maintenance, and haircuts. They were really good about checking back too. In fact, the person called the other day to see if we had made any decisions or anything; it was really nice for her to do that. The facility was older, but I think they kept it up very nicely. She mentioned that there were several couples that have known each other for years that are all there together, and so that was kind of cool. I visited this facility

We were accommodated extremely well. The room was very nice and much larger than some of the places I have seen in the past. Everything was very well kept. They offered a lot of activities, arts and crafts, a green house out in the courtyard, exercise activities, hair and nail appointments, religious activities, and transportation. The room they showed me was very adequate, clean and well-maintained. The food is very good, there are lots of choices and it's of decent quality. They told us that they have lots of social activities. Some of their amenities is a beauty salon, a little theater for showing movies, meeting rooms and everything you could desire. JB 2018-07-26 My dad moved into the independent living of Karcher Estates. We were very happy with the facility at the time up until the last couple of years. He moved in to the assisted living wing, and it seemed like they were terribly understaffed. The staff that were there seemed overworked and stretched too far. Their level of care was very inadequate. The food was OK. In the last couple of years, it really went downhill and became shabby. There were torn carpets and the furnishings were looking very worn. My dad had a room with access to a courtyard but they let the grass die out there and hadn't kept up the landscaping in that area. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

He was happier there than at the other rehab he went to. I have no complaints whatsoever. They helped us afterwards with doctor appointments and physical therapists. They did all the footwork for me. They were doing a good job of what they're trained to do. He did not have any complaints about the food. One time we visited, they had a clown that came through and gave people little root beer floats, but they made it fun. He's in the rehab side, and it's all connected. When she fell ill taking care of him, she also went there for some rehab to be healthier. However, my father passed away and my mom is still over there, still trying to get stronger and better. Karcher Estates has very friendly staff. The nurses are really willing to help. It is a clean establishment. You don't smell any urine or any type of body filth. So, it is very clean and very friendly oriented, and I am very happy with it right now. I will recommend it to any family member that has to put their parents in some type of a home. However, they do not accept Medicaid. I am a friend or relative of a resident

We visited the independent and assisted living of Karcher Estates. It was beautiful. I did not think it would be a positive experience, but it ended up being 3,000 times better than what I thought. The staff of Karcher Estates was very friendly and were willing to go above just to show us everything. They explained it all very well, gave us copies of the menu, and gave us prices. When it is meal time, all the staff are taking people to the lunch room and no one is left to watch to see if anyone left in the rooms call for aide because if they do there is no one to go to the rooms to help.

Right now, mom is in Karcher Estates, and as far as I know, she is happy with her care. Also, my dad has been over there as recommended by his doctor.
