I wish a rating less than 1 star could be given. My mother lived at this facility in the Memory Care side from September 2022 until July 2023. While she resided at this facility, there were three different employees in the role of Memory Care Manager. In the same time frame, there were also three separate employees in the role of head nurse of the memory care side. With these changes in managers and lead nurses, the one thing that remained consistent was that Rebecca (Administrator of the entire Caldwell facility) could and would verbally make false promises, no matter the nature of the conversation. In one meeting, staff even identified a lack of training and internal protocol was being followed, and yet, no changes took place. Items went missing, furniture was moved from my mother's room, and yet, the facility administration always noted that it was the family's fault for allowing it to occur. This was a very eye-opening and disappointing experience for our entire family, and we are so grateful we found a safe and happy place for my mother following this horrendous ordeal. Grace Assisted Living in Caldwell is an excellent reminder that just because something looks nice, doesn't mean that it is. I highly recommend you consider seeking a different facility for you or your loved one if you care about their well-being at all. 0/10.

Grace Caldwell Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care was wonderful. They have an exercise place, arts and crafts room, and a hair salon. Their one-bedrooms were big and very nice compared to the other facilities that I saw. They have everything you can think of. The hair salon, the activities room, and all that will be great for my mom and my stepdad. I think they would love it. They have just way more stuff for a cheaper price.

It was new and it's only been there for two or three years and they just built on more. I had a friend in there. The staff was incredible to her. They were very good to her and helped her a lot. I was very pleased with the care that they gave. The rooms were too small, but everything else was nice. She was in assisted living, so she needed assisted care, which meant that her diet should've been the diet that she needed, which was for a diabetic and they ended up feeding her so many potatoes and biscuits and stuff that she really shouldn't have. She was on a rollercoaster with her sugar level because of the food they fed her and then she said something and finally they made her a salad. I just didn't feel like there was enough care there in that aspect because that was part of her care, to keep her diabetes under control. From what I saw and what my friend told me, the activities were pretty good. There's a nice area for them to be in and for visitors. I think that was why the rooms were small. They said you could go out and visit in other areas, which was nice. There were lots of windows and lots of light, and they had an area where they did activities to keep them active. They had games and other things which I thought were good, and once we convinced her to take part in them, she had a lot of fun. The staff was wonderful. They came down to her room and talked to her because she was a grandma and they loved her. They were very good to her. It's a beautiful facility.

I toured Grace Assisted Living at Caldwell for a tour. They gave us a chart or a calendar of what activities they were going to do that day. I don't think they were locked down compared to its sister community, people were moving around more and we liked what we saw there. I liked what I was reading that the residents were going to be doing to keep them active and interacting with each other. They didn't have a room for a memory care resident at this time because they were full. One big thing about them is that it's brand new, they're built just a couple of things ago. You can tell the feeling of this is brand new, things are nice and clean. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice and informative, they took us places so we can see the room. They didn't have an empty room to show. So they showed us a room of a resident that allowed us to come in and just look around, see what it looked like and what kind of decorations people were using. So that was interesting.

My mother is at Grace - Caldwell Assisted Living. Management has been very cooperative and very willing to give her what she needs. If she needs to get out and walk around her son can come walk around with her. They're very lenient with doctor appointments on such short notice. It's perfect. She has her own apartment and her own furniture. They keep it very clean for her. Anything she wants to put on the walls, they come and do it for her with no notice. She needed a clock with big hands, and they were right there to do it when she received the clock. They're doing fingernail polishing and an exercise class. They have to be very careful about people that they let in, so it's basically people who work there that have a specialty of what they like to do. She seems to like the food very well. The dining area is very clean, and they're served individually. They don't eat family style anymore, and it's very sanitary. Value for money is very good. The staff is very helpful. Anything she wants them to do for her they are willing to do.

We're living in Grace Independent Living & Assisted Living at Caldwell, and I think it's a really nice establishment. They play bingo, they do some exercises, they go on walks, they have an hour trip to a couple of different stores about twice a week, and a little entertainment, but they need something more at night to keep people from going back to their room at 5:30 or 6:00 pm. The staff is really good, but we've had a high turnover of cooks. I think the meals will get better when they get a permanent cook. We have a library, and we have a room with a lot of activities like games, bingo, and a couple of movies are shown per week.

My mother started in assisted living at Grace Independent and Assisted Living at Caldwell and they overmedicated her for a month until they ended up putting her in memory care. They then kicked her out in the middle of the night when she was in the hospital. She slipped and I almost lost her because of it. She went to the hospital several times. She was unresponsive the last time they sent her and when she went back to the hospital, the nurse told me that she wasn't welcome to come back, and that was January 1st, so everything was closed. I couldn't get her in anywhere. When I told a nurse they were giving her medication over what she was supposed to have, she laughed at me and challenged me like she wanted to argue with me. She has followed me outside saying rude comments. They had very unprofessional staff. The dining area was nice, but the food wasn't very good. The facility was beautiful.

We are going into Grace Independent & Assisted living, and we placed a deposit. Its just a couple of miles from my house. This place is brand new, and they just opened. They have a lot of activities, they have a pool table, a theater, and they have a calendar. They have classes, cards, and bingo. Its a clean, and a nice place to live with friendly people. They have a professional chef.
