"My brother was a resident of Fite Living Center for 11/2 years. I had no idea that a place like this existed. The rooms are spacious and clean the whole building has a charm about it that makes the residents and visitors feel comfortable and at home. The staff takes their time with each resident to listen to them and make them feel like family. I was surprise to see how many out of the center trips that they carry the residents to: Braves baseball games, lunch and dinner at local restaurants, the men go out for coffee and donuts. My brothers all time favorite trip was to the Nutcracker (Marietta) one Christmas to see the owners daughter perform. The owners and the staff go above and beyond to help the residents and their families for example my brother had to have a special detergent for his laundry, that was not a problem I carried it in and it was used for his clothes they wash each residents clothing separately. I will assure you that if you have a loved one who needs a place to live where they will be taken care of and loved like family Fite Living Center is your place, look no further. "

"My mom moved into The Fountains at Calhoun. It seems to be very nice, well-kept, and clean. The staff members seem to be very caring. My mom gets three meals a day. There's somebody on staff around the clock, and that's what we were concerned about. My mom is clean and well. They have nice meals because I've been up there with my mom a couple of times. The meals are served. The facilities are nice. The staff members are excellent and are good with my mom. I've seen them with other patients besides my mom, and they seem to have a personal connection with the patients there. They are hands-on with them as far as helping them to get seated from a portable chair, to a sofa, or a recliner. They will assist you and try to help you personally with the condition of your loved one's mind. They customize it to your situation. The dining area is wonderful, clean, and well-kept. It's expensive, but as long as my mom's getting proper care, it's worth it."

"Felton Manor Personal Care was clean and well kept. The staff seems to be very nice and helpful. I just didn't like the location. It wasn't the most ideal situation for me. They had a dining area and the facilities are nice enough. The staff members that I met were very nice, although there weren't many that I met. The people who reside there seemed fine. A part of the issue is that this community is kind of in the middle of an industrial area."

"Very beautiful place. Staff members we met with were very nice and informative. Just basically shopping the market right now and haven’t made any commitments. Did a virtual tour and things looked nice. We were only able to see the main lobby area due to Covid rules. It honestly looks like a ski resort lobby."

"Riverwood Senior Living was very nice and organized. It had tons of rooms. It was like a big convention center. I liked the fact that the place had an open drink bar where you could get coffee, a Coke, or juice 24 hours a day. There were a lot of little perks. There was a garden, a back porch, a front porch, and rocking chairs. The facility had an independent living section, an Alzheimer's unit, and everything in between, so once you check in, you can stay there for a long time. The residents had mailboxes, which is something I liked very much. There were lots of halls and lots of places where people could get together. The people there were very sweet. It was everything that I would want. If something happens to me, this place is where I'll check in. It was the only facility that really spoke to me. It was the one that I would give an A+ all around for being welcoming, giving me a grand a tour, and treating me like a princess. The bigwigs who were trying to spoil me would stop and chitchat with anybody and everybody. That made an impression on me, and they were very loving. "

"The Spires at Berry College is a lovely environment. The people there are very nice. They were very understanding and patient, and they had lots of information. They showed us around, extensively showed us the grounds, and gave us lots of options. They had one bedroom in memory care, but they had studios for assisted living. It's a very nice place. I went over there three times and saw all of it. They have different price points for places to live out there, but the memory care is a wing inside the facility, so they're secure. There's a swimming pool, a workout center, and all the amenities you want. They have buses to take you out if you're not in memory care."

"I'm quite satisfied with the rooms in Winthrop Court. However, my reason for not going there is their price. Everything is good. They have lots of activities. They have a library and an activities room. The staff members are very good. The dining area is spacious and clean."

"Renaissance Marquis was good but too far away. They had very nice outdoor area, which they put a lot of thought into. They had a grill outside, a small building where you can have guests, and a nice paved patio. It's very nice. The people really liked the outdoors. The activities and things that they provide are standard, but it's more a la carte. In other words, if you wanted two meals a day or to have your laundry done, you have to pay extra. "

"Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center was a nice nursing home facility and it was clean. I went there three times and I never smelled urine, and I never saw anything that was unpleasant. Their dining facility looked nice, and they posted the meals in a good way. They had activities. It used to be a hospital, so the rooms were typical double semi-private hospital rooms. It's not huge, and the privacy they had was still a curtain between the two, but they could move their beds around to give them more room. They could put a recliner in there or a chair. Everyone I saw seemed very knowledgeable, understanding, and pleasant. They would give them snacks, and they were very in-tune to them. Even though this is a nursing home, they look at it as the patient's home."

"My father-in-law is in Tranquillity. It was beautiful and all redone; it was very nice. The rooms were very nice and very big. He had no complaints about the food. They have activities and a full time activity coordinated. The staff was a lovely lady; she was very nice and caring. We just had a birthday party for my father in law, and we served ice cream and cake. "

"I toured Tiger Lily Estates. They were kind of neat. They were very new and very modern. They are current, and I liked it because it was new, more spacious, and more consistent. It was not what I was looking for, but it was beautiful. However, you had to leave the facility to go to a common area for events. I didn't care for that because you would be traveling in the rain or cold. If you were someone in a wheelchair or being pushed, I didn't care for that. It would not have worked for my friend because of her age. The rooms were spacious and current, so everything was consistent. It's like an apartment, and they're kind of cookie cutter. They had their own living-bedroom area and bathroom. They were very consistently the same, so you wouldn't find one a little smaller than another. They were spacious enough for a single person in the later years of life. They're clean and fresh because they're brand new. They had a calendar of events, and they had their in-house salon. There were a couple of things you could do in-house, but they had more structured activities (even things like chair exercises). They had a program, so I like that part about it. People would come and perhaps play the piano or do entertainment in a big area. They just do events in that building. They're not exclusively, but they're very fresh and very current. They have a separate kitchen area, and they bring food like a dorm. They're new, and they're recruiting. The staff were very, very nice and very informative. They followed up afterwards. They really wanted us to be happy or to be informed and have all the information we needed to make a decision. Everybody on that day couldn't be more attentive to make sure we understood and were good about what we were looking at."

"My mother moved into Manor Lake Cartersville. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The facility was very clean and neat. And in the process, they walk us through every step of the way. And, when my mother visited, she loved the place. She loved the facility. She loved the interaction with the staff and the patients there or residents. I went to visit her yesterday and they were singing, dancing, arts and crafts. They do outings off the premises. They go to parks, movies, and restaurants. She said they go to zoos and places like that. We met the activities coordinator and he has a lot of great ideas as far as keeping them active, keeping them up and moving. And, they have family night bingo. That was another thing that got us there, because of the family involvement with the activities. But it was very, very active. A lot of things to do. That was one thing my mother truly enjoyed so far being there is that there's always something to do. They do a lot of karaoke."

"My aunt is staying in the Cherokee County Health and Rehab Center. Their staffing ratios are very safe, and they have a lot of activities, and they're very good with her. She seems very happy. She's in a single bedroom. Station five is where she's at, which is all just single-occupant rooms, and everyone there seems very well taken care of. The staff is very nice. They get along very well with my aunt. She's probably one of their favorite patients because they are used to dealing with people who aren't able to have the recollection, memory, and recall to have a good conversation. They have multiple activities throughout the day. They throw big events like a month or so ago, they had Elvis Presley visit, and everyone dressed up like they're nice, and today they have a pianist come in to perform for them, and I thought that was nice."

"Kimberly Personal Care Home is a good place because it's a small community. It's also very clean, doesn't smell, and is very appealing. The residents seem to be very content, all look very nice, and kept up. They have a beautiful courtyard where the seniors can go out to sit. The staff is very friendly and each one has been there for a long time. They didn't seem like they were too stretched out, like they were enjoying being part of the senior community. I feel very comfortable in that place. "
