Franciscan Woods is small and personal. Their bath is good. I know the director, and it is a very clean and reputable place. My mother-in-law has been there for about six months, and the staff has been excellent. I think they do a good job, and I'm there almost every day. They have all kinds of activities. They have an exercise room, and they plan several things every day. They have church on Sundays, dinners, and a Mother's Day party. They do all kind of stuff for them, and they are very active.

This facility is associated with St. Francis hospital and is a bit costly compared to other assisted living facilities in the area. As such, you expect a higher quality of service however it was more than a bit dismal. They have a high rate of falls which I contribute to the fact that they seem to run a skeleton crew on all shifts. If you need constant supervision of your loved one you have to find it through an outside company and they won't recommend anyone they've previously worked with. My Aunt had dietary restrictions that were followed and the staff that seemed the most welcoming was one nurse and the kitchen staff. It is a beautiful property but is pretty far away from hospitals should there be an emergency. The nurses seem off putting and generally too busy to do much assisting. I wouldn't personally recommend this as the best place for your loved ones although, unfortunately, it does seem to be better than the alternatives in Columbus.
