"The Gardens of Eufaula is a gem! It's a small community of caring staff and 16 residents that offers a safe and comfortable place for your loved one who might be having a hard time managing at home. It's not a nursing home, but it is for those who might benefit from regular meal and laundry service, med management, organized activities, etc, and the apartment-style rooms can be furnished just as the resident likes so it feels more like home. It is very affordable, and as residents need more services, those can be provided as well. The staff is very responsive and make extra efforts to accommodate personal requests and preferences, always working to improve the quality of life at The Gardens. I love that it is large enough to offer regular social activities, but small enough that residents and staff really get to know each other. During the Covid19 crisis, The Gardens has implemented smart safety protocols which gives me a lot of comfort that my mother is being well cared for in a difficult situation. Concerns of isolation during Covid19 have plagued many communal living facilities, but "porch visits" at The Gardens are a fabulous option that have allowed residents' family and friends to visit with their loved one outside in fresh air when conditions permit. "My great-aunt became a resident of Twin Magnolias Assisted Living. While looking for the facility that was the right choice for her, we toured Twin Magnolias. Eventually, we settled on this facility for my great-aunt due to its level of attention and care, as well as its familiar grounds for her, as she is from that town and has lived there for her entire life. The facility is very close to multiple doctors' offices, as well as a pharmacy and two grocery stores, so we could easily run errands for her when she needs help. There are staff members on hand to serve the residents' needs around the clock, and there is an emergency service vehicle station nearby in case someone needs to go to the hospital. Hospitals are not in the same town, but they are not far away, which was another reason for picking this place. The grounds and housing are not fancy, but they are clean and seem easy to find your way around, for patients with mental difficulties. My great-aunt's mind is not as strong as it was a few years ago, so this is a big plus for her. "

"The Willows of Cuthbert, The/Arbor has been bought out by another company, and they're really updating it; we're pleased with the changes. My sister is in assisted living, and I am very well pleased with it. They're going to bring on more staff as they get more residents. The staff is very good, professional, and kind. The pricing is fairly reasonable -- $2700 a month. She has an apartment with a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a walk-in closet and a little kitchenette area. The grounds are very nice, and it's right off of a state route. They have a really nice patio-type area for the residents, and they have a screened-in porch for them if they want to go outside. It's very nice. The food is homemade and very good, and they keep the place and her apartment very clean. Right now, they don't have activity director, but they assured me they will be doing activities with them, and they have a van which could take them on day tours."
