We're going to be moving my wife to Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge on Wednesday. It's a very nice place. They said that they will be working with dementia. I thought that they really are doing something with the people that they have there with dementia. They explained what they do, and they seemed to have a nice memory care program. Not that I really wanted to go that far away from where I am right now, but they talked me into it because of the program that they have. They had a variety of rooms. They were either for two people or just one person. They had toiletry and everything in each of the rooms. They had the bedding and everything for each of the rooms. I guess they were in good condition. They had a view outside. I know they have a big program because I saw all of them at the dining room tables. They were doing something together, probably bingo or some other game like that where they can all be together rather than just one or two. I'd say that it was one o'clock in the afternoon. The buildings and things like that aren't the greatest that you'd die to get in. They weren't in very good condition. I didn't have enough communication with the staff. I only talked to one person, who escorted me around to show what facilities they had. They had a big dining room that they were playing bingo in. It was also their eating room. They had a couple of gardens that they could go to outside. They were allowed to have pets.

My father is at Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge. I have not been inside because of the coronavirus, but I am very pleased with the people. They're very sweet and kind to me. I'm glad I got him there because I think it might be more of a caring place. There are three ways you can visit, like you can visit through the iPhone or the iPad. They also have visits where you can do it through the window; they give him a cell phone, they call my number, and then I talk to him through the window, and I have done that every other day. I don't know if there's a time limit because I've been there at the most a little bit over an hour. Most of the time it's a half hour to an hour, and they provide the phone. The other thing that they have is they have a hug booth where they have put a bunch of polyethylene and you can put your arms through. It's all in plastic, and the person visiting gets their arms in plastic, and you actually can hug your mom or dad. They were on TV about that. They have a printout they put out once a month on what they're going to do with them daily. They play bingo. Each month is a different theme, so this month is Greek. They learn Greek words. My dad said he's eating really well. He gets three meals a day and a couple snacks, and he likes the food.

We were very impressed with Inspired Living. All they did was memory care, but every person had a private room. They're able to go in and out of the building at will without being locked from the outside. The outside isn't walled, it's gated, so you can see outside and watch the people, cars, and even children. It wasn't so secluded from the rest of the world, and that impressed me. The director there was so knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and dementia. They have a cafe, and they can choose what they want. They can make their own decisions as long as it isn't harmful. All those things were very impressive to me. The room was nice, big, with an area for sitting, the bathroom was really great, with a lot of safety features, and with nice, big windows to see outside. The dining area was very nice, with smaller tables for four chairs. It's a pleasant area. The staff was very good and knowledgeable. The facility was bright, cheerful, and absolutely home-like.

The people at Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge are very loving and caring for their patients. My wife gets meals, gets dressed and undressed, and they change her diaper, watch out for her, and give her medications. They have entertainment. My wife has a single room with a bed and dresser. There are also a couple chairs, and a bathroom with a shower, and there's no climbing over a barrier to get into the shower and out. She also has television in the room. They have access to the outside open areas with walkways, benches and grass. They also exercise. I think we're getting our money's worth.

Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge was terrific, very quiet, and very small. It didn't feel like you're being warehoused there because you could get more individual attention. The rooms were a good size. I especially liked the idea that if you went there, you're locked into whatever price you pay, so no raise in future years. The grounds were pretty nice. Everything about the place was nice.

Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge was great. I enjoyed it because it was all memory care. I got a good tour and good information from Ms. Dawn who guided me. It seems pretty reasonable, and there are lots of activities. I really thought it was a good place for the future. It seemed very secure, and the rooms are spacious and great.

I was very impressed by how knowledgeable there were at Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge. They're strictly memory care, and what was nice was they broke the memory care into 2 groups so the higher-functioning ones could be together and the lower-functioning ones could be together. My aunt would have the opportunity to talk to people, but there are too many people, and she gets overwhelmed with that.

My family member has been here for a year now. I love the staff and how they provide a loving, safe, and happy and meaningful life to the residents. The place is small, the rooms are smaller, but the quality of life and peace of mind is immeasurable. The programming is fantastic and the line staff to the director all know and love the residents. Most highly recommended.

Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge was nice. It looked like a nursing home but it did have free access outside to the walking trails. The rooms are very tiny and I was not impressed with it. I like that they have motion sensors to tell them when the residents are up. The facility was larger and it had more residents. The dining room area was very large.

Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge is one of four places that our lawyer recommended. It looked pretty good, and everything looked OK to me. I didn't see anything wrong. The rooms looked very nice. The person that was touring me around knew all the patients that were there and said hi to them, and the staff seemed friendly too.

I was here on a tour not too long ago. Apparently, the owners have changed and i was not pleased with the facility. The facility is new and has some nice technology concepts but these don't seem to be helpful for my 91 year old mother. The facility is one floor but is very confusing. The Residents were roaming around the entire place and seemed to not have direction when we were touring. It felt very "unhomey". Staff was nice, but i would not recommend it.

I am early stages of dementia and know one day I will have to live out of my home. So I went to several Memory Care assisted living and found Ivy Ridge to be one of the most family oriented of the others. I went in the evening to see the real deal and the blonde went out of her way to help me and my daughter, she stopped giving medication to answer our questions and get us a water.

My mother lives within Ivy Ridge and LOVES it..... The living conditions are impeccable. I sometimes feel like she has adopted the caregivers as her own children and grandchildren, They treat her just like family. I would recommend Ivy Ridge for family or friends.

Ivy ridge looks good on the surface but our experience was awful. Staff is not trained, residents are left to their own devices for hours at a time activities are. to consistent, nor are they person specific. They are more like kindergarten busy work. Staff interactions with residents are superficial and do not reflect standard dementia care standards. Be very careful of this facility.

My husband has been living in Ivy Ridge for a couple of months. The facility is brand new. He has a beautiful, airy and light room and I just feel like that's where he needs to be. They really care about the people. Some of the residents can play cards and bingo and some people always sleep but my husband is kind of in the middle and he walks a lot. They have TV and they do music and different things.

Ivy Ridge was terrible. I went to the living quarters and where they feed the residents. They had staff smoking outside the door and smoke went into the dining area when the door is opened.
