My husband has been in the Life Care Center of Orlando, and so far we have been very pleased. The people working there respond quickly, and they answer all my questions. They were supportive when we made the change, and they have done everything right. They have taken care of him and have gone out of their way to make sure he is comfortable and that gets the care that he needs. Right now, they have gotten him on a special diet, so his food is kind of mushy. I understand that when he gets regular food he loves it, but the mushy food he is not so thrilled about. My husband got another person with him in his room, but he has plenty of room. It's also the cleanest place I've been in since we started looking at places. I like that the halls are very wide and that there is room for more than one person to pass through, so it's great. They have just re-opened from being quarantined. The staff has been very forthcoming. They answer my questions, they call me, and they give me updates. When my husband had a concern, he talked to the nurse. They have been great. I've gotten all the answers I've been looking for when I talk to them. The reason he moved there was because he needed more care than he could get in assisted living, and they have given him that care. Right now, he is in his first 100 days of Medicare, and we are in the process of applying for Medicaid.

For elderly, sickly people who's families truly love. To send them to a place where food is terrible. Certified Nursing Assistants are extremely underpaid and overworked. They are trained in the field yet are told what to do by the nurses. Let them do the job on which they are trained. Everybody hired should be hired for their compassion let's face it we are talking about our loved ones. I could say a lot more but will leave it to you to strongly evaluate the place your sick are located and please please ask then the correct questions on how the facility is treating them: Food, nurses, doctors etc. If you don't act nothing will change.

My grandma was here for about a month and I was very pleasantly surprised with the type of care and services she received. She had been at 2 facilities like this before and had horrible experiences. We were so wary of placing her in another facility but I am so glad we selected Life Care Orlando. I would recommend this place to any one who is worried about finding a place for their loved ones.

Mom started in the Life Care Center for rehab, but the doctor recommended full care. The people were nice, they cared more than the other places we found. They have a well known rehab program, and a director takes care of the games, activities, and church services. She likes Bingo and it makes her happy.

Horrib2 place to be.if you need help to go to the bathroom or other kind of help forget it you have to wait a long time for some one to came and help you.in my opinion they are under staffs. The web site looks very nice but when you came in and you need assistance forget it.good place to be if you are independent and don't need assistance (help) they advertised very good but they need to hire more people in my opinion.my mom been here for a couple day. I'll be updating as time goes by.

WORST PLACE EVER!!! Do your family member a favor and stay away. I have worked in nursing homes and this one the care is by far awful. My grandmother was only here for 3 days when the nurse was not giving medication on time. Nursing staff was aware she must get medication on time or it will cause severe problems. Grandmother ended up in ICU and passed away a week after. Administrator then called us about a meeting when my grandmother was in the hospital. Communication is POOR!!! Advice to management, your building may be beautiful but take time to actually communicate with the families. After all they are the ones helping write your paycheck.

My mother was in Life Care Center of Orlando for rehabilitation for a while. It was pretty good overall. There were a few little simple issues such as the timeliness of her medication, but sometimes that's the patient's fault more than the facility, like when they ask you if you want your medication and you say no. That was my mother's biggest complaint because she was in pain, and sometimes it took a little bit longer. We talked to them, they resolved those issues pretty quickly, and they were a lot more attentive to her needs. Overall, I would grade them as good.

My mom is at Life Care Center of Orlando, and they have been wonderful. The nurses are very caring. Their physical and occupational therapy is excellent. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and nice. They are great people. Their private rooms are really nice, and the whole facility is clean. They do have a calendar of activities, and if you need to go to the doctor, they would take you to your doctor. They have arts and crafts as well.

My wife was at Life Care Center of Orlando for almost three years. She didn’t get any better and she passed in June this year. Their facilities are all over the country and probably one of the best nursing homes there is around as far as Florida is concerned. Yes, I highly recommend them to anybody. They have a great staff. The nurses are unbelievable; they’re very compassionate. They also have great therapists that work with the patients. For a very short while my wife called it home. She knew she wasn’t coming out. They do everything to make you feel comfortable there. The ones that can go out go to Walmart or go to a restaurant. They have people cleaning all the time. They do a great job.

My mother was at Life Care Center for probably two months before she passed away. We really appreciate the facility. They took good care mom. The therapist were wonderful and so as the nurses. My mom was very pleased with them. Their rooms are nice and clean. They were well appointed. I think she is happy as she can be even if she's not at home.

My mother-in-law was hospitalized then was ordered for rehab. But then, it turned out that she needed 24hours of care. There were 3 places to pick and this is the available one. Its very clean with nice facilities and it never had a smell. It is well staffed and they are always willing to talk to us. They always have activities and even if she has Alzheimer's, they let her feel that she is a part of the group. The send us flyers of activities we can be a part of. She's always well dressed, out of the room around people. They always have pampering every week. My mom always has her manicure. We are happy that it worked out perfectly. She is where she needs to be.

I thought the quality of care for my family member in the home was adequate. The nurses seemed very friendly and worked to care for my family member. The space was nice, the rooms were shared and the staff was flexible about our visiting my loved one. I believe she was comfortable at the place. The place also had a nice garden, which I thought was a nice touch to help improve the feeling of the location. I thought that there existed a good network of support for my loved one and for our family. This was a great relief with our anxiety of using the facilities. And thankfully my loved one could bring their tennis racquets and enjoy playing tennis and staying active in the community. This was important as exercise has many healing benefits. I also believe that using plants and good art in the common areas has a great effect on the wellbeing of residents.
