The total licensed capacity at Buena Vista is 6. The residents here are all over the age of 65 with the average age being 80. The residents enjoy making puzzles, playing bingo, dominos, listening to music and getting a daily dose of exercise.

Buena Vista has a 22 kW generator able to power the entire house including water heater and A/C for up to 5 days 24 hours a day. Buena Vista is equipped with 24/7 video monitoring. There are eight cameras on the premises, but they are specially placed to maximize resident privacy. Cameras can be monitored at the facility or via wifi by owner and administrator. The facility is also equipped with a smart home alarm system which notifies care givers, owner and administrator when the alarm has been triggered. The alarm is armed every night and disarmed every morning. Throughout the period that the alarm in unarmed there are chimes when doors are opened along with notifications sent to the owner and admin via smart alarm app.

Accepted Answer

The dining experience differs from many other ALF because we allow the resident to eat wherever they are most comfortable. We specialize in hispanic foods, but occasionally order third party foods such as Pizza, Chinese food and even Italian food.
