My wife of sixty years is in memory care at Morningstar at Bear Creek. I carefully vetted this facility before placing my wife there, and found it to be a wonderful place that would provide a great experience for her needs. I am not disappointed. The staff is just wonderful, constantly administering and helping each resident. They are all so kind. The questionnaire I completed about my wife's needs and likes and dislikes was evidently read by the staff. I mentioned that she loves chocolate. The staff picked up that and I notice she gets chocolate even when another dessert is being served. Also, the facility is NOT understaffed like so many others of this type.

The rooms are like home. The staff is accommodating and willing to listen and help and know what needs are required by the resident. The food seems very good; lots of choices by the residents. Not sure on the activities as my husband has only been there 1 week. I know there is a men's group and TV watching of the Broncos and movies. The patio's are sunny with shade as well with lots of flowers and comfortable chairs.

My mother was the 7th resident to move into this gorgeous facility. She was there for 3 months before she passed. The caregivers were very attentive and they did activities throughout the day so the residents weren't sitting in their rooms all by themselves. We told them that mom liked to draw when she was younger and they would sit her down with pencil, paper and crayons and she thrived by doing these activities. They also take some of the residents out on excursions which they seemed to enjoy. They do a family dining for all 3 meals. We were very happy with everything while she was there.

MorningStar Memory Care at Bear Creek is a new facility. I am impressed with the building, the cleanliness, and the homey feeling of the facility. The rooms are nice and are kind of like small apartments with a living area and separate bath and walk-in shower. The staff was friendly. They were taking care of their residents and are very attentive to their needs. We would feel comfortable putting my mom in this facility.

We placed my mom at MorningStar Memory Care. She was there for two months, but she passed away last Sunday. It was a very fairly new facility, hardly open a year when we had mom placed. It was a very beautiful, spacious facility and not overcrowded with residents. The staff was excellent and very attentive to Mom. They were the regular daycare folks who were great and good care and interest to mom. Even the administrative staff and the executive director were really top-notch, capable, and friendly people. We were very happy when she was there.
