I'm very happy with The Care Center on Hazeltine. They're taking very good care of my mother. It was recommended from the in-home hospice care that she had. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They have her on a liquid diet that my mom's not crazy about. For other people on regular diets, the food is a 5. They take her every day to an activity room. She doesn't participate in anything, but she sits there and watches. When I go visit her, there are always a lot of people in there, either playing cards, watching TV, or playing checkers. I'm very happy about that. They have somebody that comes and take care of my mom's hair. She's had somebody come to put nail polish on her. She's not active in anything, but for people that want it, they show movies and they do outings. Right now, we're not paying for it, it's covered by Medicare. After this weekend, Medicare won't pay anymore, and it's just under $195 a day after Medicare stops paying, so I believe that's a little on the high side.
