My uncle just moved into Nazareth Agua Caliente Memory Care. It is a beautiful old stone building. It's very clean. Every staff member that I encountered (both move-in day and the day I visited) were kind and helpful. They've already made a care plan for him and tried to get him very involved in activities. They are trying to help him not to be so anxious about being in a new place. He played lawn bowling. They have bingo and watched movies in a shared space to get him out of the room. They also have several lovely chairs and tables set up outside under some shade. The grounds really are lovely. I'm very happy so far. I've only been there for two meals and one was like a Chinese food. It smelled very good. The second meal didn't look so appetizing, but my uncle (who is sometimes a picky eater) ate it all.
