My husband was at Western Slope in Placerville, and they were so wonderful. It wasn't fancy, but they were so kind, and were just nice. His hair wasn't always combed, and they were so busy, but they were just very sweet and kind to him. He fell a couple of times and they called me. The place needed remodeling, but it was clean, and he was happy while he was there. He seemed happy with the food too; he never complained about it. He was on a pureed diet at first because he was having trouble swallowing, and they were very conscientious about that. He had physical therapy while he was there, and they really worked with him. I didn't see any but I know they had activities going on too.
