"The facility was really clean, and they seemed to have gtood activities. My big issue was some of the staff was really mean. One of the nighttime CNAs was cruel to my aunt, a resident at this facility. The CNA called her a nasty lesbian, and would yell at her and berate her on a nightly basis. Other than that CNA, who has since been terminated, the facility is nice. The staff is for the most part kind, especially the daytime staff, who I have had the most contact with. "

"I came to Valley Gardens after a PEG tube placement. The facility itself is very clean and well kept. The staff treated me with dignity and respect which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. Once I started my rehabilitation program I very quickly realized that not only will I be able to eat on my own again but I will have a better life style when I return home! I cant show my appreciation any greater then posting this and saying thank you for giving me my life back! "

"Creekside is very beautiful with a very home-like setting. They have good food and compassionate care. My aunt had been there before, and I was impressed with them, so we used them for the last time my father needed that kind of care. "

"My father was at Wagner Heights for Rehab. I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were warm, caring, knowledgeable. The facility itself was clean,warm and no odor what so ever. I would have absolutely no hesitation placing a loved one there again. "

"The staff at Meadowood was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. They place was homey I didn't like the food at first because it was Filipino food and there's a seasoning or something in there that I just couldn't stand. But they had an alternative menu which I preferred and from then on, it was good. I am pretty much happy there. The only thing that they didn't do very is to answer my brother because I had to wear diaper because I had to take this antibiotics that gave me diarrhea. I was still on diaper and nobody wanted to hoop the pants while I had the diaper, he came in a timely manner and assisted me. They need to improve on the reaction time to the patients. But allin all I am satisfied. "

"Manteca Care is very clean. The food is very good. The staff is very caring and nice. I really do not have anything bad to say about it. So far, my experience there with my mom has been very good. They have recreational activities, like music time. Everything is nice and clean. It does not smell like old people, like some places do. That in itself is very nice. "

"Lodi Nursing & Rehabilitation was full, so it was really busy. There were a lot of people and they seemed to be sitting in the halls and not really engaged, but what I liked the most about it was the staff. They were wonderful, and the person we met there was very knowledgeable about the facility, what they offer, what my mom needed, and that type of thing. They had a nice dining hall and they invited me for a meal, but I just didn't stay."

"My father in law had a short stay at Fairmont. This was his second stay there and both times he received exceptional care. All of the staff were very kind to him. Rehab did a great job getting him up and walking and able to come back home."

"My husband had stayed in Vienna Nursing & Rehab Center. We chose this one because they struck us as nicer than the others and we liked that one the best. I thought most of the staff came from the Philippines. They were nice girls. Though I thought they were underpaid, they were very friendly and if I needed help from them, they got there as fast as they could. I don't how they did when I wasn't there, but I don't think my husband had any particular complaints against them. Several people who lived there liked it there. The rooms were double and I had to ask to change room because the man he was with was very hateful that no one wanted to be with him and they immediately transferred him. He changed rooms twice. The food was not bad at all. It was an old nursing home, but it was kept up very good. There were things that needed to be done, but they had a maintenance man who came and he was always there to fix whatever the problem was. So, I don't think there was much problem with anything that was not taken care of. "

"Major problems: Relative put mom here, horrible place... Family member overdrugged so they don't have to give her therapy or help her get to potty chair,forced to wear diaper when she is NOT incontinent. Warned of allergies to meds, place not listening, Family forced to discuss things with director in room with NO DOOR on it, breach of privacy. Outrageous noise, staff arguing noise complaints by others led to investigation today. Director plays attorney, falsely stating the law, when corrected by attorney refused to listen. Nurses leaning against walls watching TV, while I helped the therapist with the wheelchair myself! Limited food on trays, trays delivered to wrong patients later staff seen munching on bacon NOT put on trays. Way too small, even a dispensation from the govt. on wall saying they can have patients in rooms that are known to be too small.(3 in tiny space) You're loved ones will die before their time here. Avoid at all cost, worst rating in the area."

"My husband has been at St Jude Care Center. It was not a good place. The quality of care and the response time weren’t good. They always seemed to be short handed and the turnover of the staff seemed to be ongoing. They need to be full staffed. These people need constant care, and I don’t think you should cheat people out of what they deserve or what usually Medicare is paying for. The cleanliness wasn’t there, and it just didn’t feel right. I wouldn’t recommend it at all unless you went to it because it was in town. One thing they did have good there was the rehab department. The therapists there were very good; that part, we had no problem with. It might be OK for short term but not for very long term. "

"Arbor Rehab is very nice, clean and friendly facility. It's very easy for a person to either walk or get around in a wheelchair. The amenities are quite available and well-lit. I have been enjoying my stay here and it has helped me recover quite nicely. I appreciate their facility. The staff is excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of their way which is surprisingly nice. They have movies and interactions with the residents here on a regular basis. It's quite home-like and they have excellent food. I've gained 3 pounds. They're not terribly expensive but not cheap either."
