As a patient, I had an excellent six week experience. Food was above average and the two person room adequate. But outstanding was the nursing staff. They were attentive to every need (physical and emotional) and very professional in behavior. And outstading was the rehabilitative program which customized physical and occupational theraphy for each resident.

As you enter Lodi Nursing & Rehabilitation, it smells wonderful. You don't have that urine smell. The only problem is the further back you get, it starts to smell kind of funky, but if you're in the front, it's nice. Even the staff in the front is much nicer than the staff in the back. Their food is not that great. I take my husband food, almost every day. He doesn't care for the food there, but it's rated five out of five stars. So I thought that would be a good place for him, but I won't take him back there again once he gets out. Their rehab is excellent. He's been doing well. He gets therapy five times a week. He is in a shared room. It's just one room with a curtain in the center and that's it. Every day around 2:00, they have bingo, crafts, and different things that they can do in the dining room and participate in different stuff. They have people come in to entertain them once a month. They have a nice patio where you can take them out and that's usually what I do, but with the weather changing, that's not possible. The staff that work in the front are pretty good. I would rate them a 4. The nursing staff in the back, I would say a 2. That's not all of them, because there are some that are excellent in the back. Some of them are very lazy and don't change. There were spills on the floor. Anyone could slip and trip on it, and nobody picked it up and who knows what that spill was? I just didn't appreciate the back area. It's a nice layout.

My husband is at Lodi Nursing & Rehabilitation. He's got kind of a crummy room, but it is what it is. They don't have any single bed. It's two people in a room, so it's been hard. The staff has been pretty good. The last two nights for dinner he got a cold dinner and a sandwich. He's on a restricted diet, and they served just a quick sandwich. It was an egg salad sandwich, and the other choice was a peanut butter sandwich.

Lodi Nursing & Rehabilitation was full, so it was really busy. There were a lot of people and they seemed to be sitting in the halls and not really engaged, but what I liked the most about it was the staff. They were wonderful, and the person we met there was very knowledgeable about the facility, what they offer, what my mom needed, and that type of thing. They had a nice dining hall and they invited me for a meal, but I just didn't stay.

I have stayed at Lodi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Delta Rehabilitation and Care) for about two weeks. The halls were quiet and people were just sitting around doing nothing. But the staff was very good and they did therapy quite well. They work very hard servicing the residents, but they were limited to what they could do. The food was good and was the best part. The facility was clean but very impersonal. There didn't seem to have a lot of happiness or a whole lot of joy in the facility.
