Average size rooms, I had a special type of bed then a normal person would have. I was still recovering from my back surgery back in Dec 2022 and so I am still tryin to walk. but anyhow the service I would say its ok not bad at all just little fixing but overall the staff especially the CNA i would give all the glory to. Well the ones Ive came in contact with that is. I have favorites but my list got long since ive been here way to long. I really appreciate everyone here. thank you for aways lending a helping hand I Pray to god to bless each and everyone of you for the work you guys do, thank you. My room is suitable for me. Activites are BINGO ...I just wish they had a swimming pool for water exercise .....(dreaming). Therpy i wish they gave more then 30 minutes to short with the time limited . need more excerises equipment

Watch out for the administration in this place. The administrator is trying to get power of attorney for my brother. They won't let us see him or check on him. They say because of the virus. But there should be checks and balance regarding the safe care of loved ones. The administration acts like she doesn't know what's going on. She'll give you the run around. Some body needs investigate this facility. Shady boots. Looks good on the outside.

Windsor Elmhaven Care Center was not good. The staff was good to my husband, but the communication between the staff wasn't good. My husband said the food was fair and better than what he was getting before. There were days that the place smelled. My trouble was with the administration. The minute we went in there, they kept asking when we're leaving or when we could get out of there because they had to have his room. They told me I would have to move him and take him home. The administration had me in tears. He got sick because he hasn't been taken care of. Also, the rooms are rather small.

Do not place your loved ones in this facility. We almost lost my father because of poor nursing care. I told the nurses for two days that my father looks weak and more confused. The nurse told me that she will check on him. The next day I asked if something was done, the nurse said he did not know anything about it. I insisted to the nurse to call the doctor , as it turned out, my father had pneumonia and was sent out to the hospital , because he was having difficulty breathing. My father was diagnosed of sepsis and dehydration at the ER. The ER nurses told me that the patients, they receive from Elmhaven are very ill. Dehydration because he was not given enough fluids and sepsis because the infection went to his blood, because his infection was not caught early. The place smell bad and the care is bad.
