For one this place does not specifically cater to people on special diets. They give pbj to dialysis patients or even stiff with cheese! The snacks are a joke as it’s all canned from the lowest bidder ; most likely) The facility does not appear to be well kept as things don’t work fir ex blinders do not open. Staff seem to have their favorites. Those who need to use diapers they are often not cleaned properly with soap and water. Some CNAs will just change the dirty diaper . OST CNAs do not appear to wash their hands or change gloves for infectious control. I had one CZnA give my specific breakfast to someone else. He took it back and gave it to me!!! That was gross! There are some good apples but the bad ones spoil fir everyone else

My 89 year old mother went here due to a fall hip fracture. We couldn't believe how caring kind and attentive the staff was. The therapy here is top of the line the most patient supporting staff. We were blessed to have my mother here.

Montebello was very nice, there were a lot of people that were of my mom’s age sitting outside, and it was very pretty inside. I like the fact that it was like an apartment type living, but they have their own little space, and I think she would have been really happy there. I met the staff, they took us on a tour, and it was really nice. The facility was very clean, and that was what really stood out to me. I would recommend it because of the interaction that they have with the patients who are there. It’s a nice little community, and I wish my mom would have been there because she would have more friends. That place would have been perfect for her because she would have had her own space and little interaction with the other people that were staying there, and I think she would have benefit it better than where she is at now.
sorry sis

My mom stayed in Montebello Care Center for 5 weeks. They have speedy recovery for rehab people and more long term care for some. The facility was quite well kept except for laundry. My mom seemed to like the food, it was okay and adequate. They get a notice on what food they'll serve. My mom seemed to enjoy it. She had a pretty good room but somebody was always in the other bed. The wall was beaten up a little but when I told them to fix it, they did. They were pretty good with activities too. One day she was in the hall and there was music. I wheeled her in and she enjoyed it.
