My sister was in this facility for 4 years, until her passing. She was completely and totally unresponsive and not able to communicate in any way. My brother in law visited EVERY day and I was there approx once a week until the month before her death when I was there every day as well. The facility is immaculate, the staff responsive, sensitive & caring to both the patients and the families. I CONSISTENTLY saw the highest level quality of care I have EVER seen in any facility and, unfortunately, I have had (too) much experience with skilled nursing facilities. The patient was kept very clean and there was ONE incident of infection in the entire 4 years (she had a trache & was on a feed tube)--a statistic virtually unheard of in such a setting. Keep in mind that the patient was unable to advocate for herself in any way (including using a buzzer). I cannot say enough about this amazing facility.
