I came here from the hospital after a life changing motorcycle accident. The staff is wonderful especially the CNAs that help the patients. But everybody's help here I am no longer bedridden and getting around somewhat (wheelchair) on my own which I never thought I would do again. I must admit that the nurses and staff here a better than I thought any place like this would be. I'm glad the hospital sent me here

I was at Longwood March-May 2019. What are the rooms like? It’s a hospital you have a bed, nightstand and a shared bathroom. TV too but I never watched, had a Kindle with all the extras and headphones. Interactions with the staff was excellent, they went out of their way to see to my constant requests. Activities? Not much, Smoking seems the most popular.I quit smoking while here. Tho there is a physical therapy room where you can exercise and the staff there are most helpful. Community? I don’t know about that, I was only here for 6 wks. My nurse was incredible as was the lady boss in charge of the facility. I must have drove her crazy with all my requests. Which she fulfilled every one! They checked on me daily. The nurses day and night were very kind, that’s the most important thing to me.

I am a relative of a resident at Longwood Manor, Los Angeles CA.For the past 3 years I've observed the living condition and the staff who have provided care to my relative. The facility is very clean and the rooms are kept in good condition. The bedding is changed on a daily basis and my relative is always in the clothing I've provided which is fresh and clean. I've observed the meals which appear wholesome and the quantity is just enough. My relative states the meals are tasty and fulfilling and he will occasionally ask me for a home cooked meal, The doctor on staff is available to answer questions and the nurses and Social Services is always ready to assist in whatever concern I have in regards to medical and billing services. Overall the nursing home is well kept and my relative is pleased and has no complaint with their services.
