We are happy with Bentley Manor by Serenity Care Health. They are exceptional. The care is really personalized, and they always give me detailed updates on how my mom is doing. The director answers my texts and calls me any time. My mom's condition has improved since she's been there. She was really frail and very ill when she went in, and I really thought she wouldn't live much longer. She's improved dramatically. She's cheerful now when I see her. She's put on weight and walks around, so they've really taken very good care of her. The facility itself could use some improvements, but I think they put most of their attention to the care, and that shows. The staff is always cheerful and kind too. They're just now starting their activities because of the COVID requirements. They haven't had much that time until recently, but I saw someone playing bingo with the residents when I was there. I think for the kind of care they get and the location being good, it's a good value for the money. I would highly recommend them.

Bentley Manor looked terrible. It felt like you walked into an asylum. It did not feel good. The staff was not organized. They need to improve the staff, the food, its cleanliness, appearance and accommodation. It looked rundown. It looked unkempt and uncared for on the outside and on the inside. Regarding the staff, they had no idea who I was. They didn't know how to greet incoming potential guests. They were not professional. They were disorganized. From what I saw, the residents were eating off of the TV tray. Not even at a table, they were sitting on a sofa with a tray in front of them. The state of the way they were feeding people was abysmal.

Bentley Manor by Serenity Care Health was clean. The people were very friendly. I visited the memory care and the staff was very thorough.

Bentley Manor by Serenity Care Health was humble and smaller. They only take 27 beds, but it just seemed too confined. It was clean and the staff seemed very friendly, but it would be too small for my mom. She's 90% in a wheelchair. They have a lot of beautiful trees around the place, so that's good on a hot day, but it just seemed darker. It didn't seem like it was getting enough natural sunlight. I felt a little uncomfortable. I toured the kitchen and everything, and it seemed nice and clean. I would recommend it if you want a place that is smaller and more intimate. That's a good place rather than a bigger location or a facility, but not for us. They had an activity board listed so it looks like they do things to keep them busy. Even the memory units had activities for them, music being a big one for me. They do arts and crafts, and that's just what my mom likes to do. She likes to cut papers and write or color.

I toured Bentley Manor by Serenity Care Health. It seemed a little dark. The patients didn't seem as happy as the other places I toured. It seemed to be an older place, and it was so much smaller. They have private rooms, they have shared rooms, and the pricing was better, but I just didn't feel the place was accommodating. I just didn't want my mom going there. The staff member who gave the tour was nice and informative, she just seemed a little abrupt. What I liked about it is it's across from the park, but I thought the place was small and dark, not well lit, and I didn't like that.

I thought Bentley Manor was such a depressing and horrible place. It was more like a board and care house which has no real community, and there’s no one there to talk to my father. They’re just kind of people existing. My dad is very communicative, and I think it would have been a horrible choice for him. He would have felt stuck where the only people to talk to him were the people who work there, and they’re busy working. They seem to have caring people who work there though.

What really made the home for me are the caregivers and manager. They were so great with my parents. Both my mom and dad stayed their together. They kept them stimulated and active and it was really a pleasure to come visit and see what a change come good care and attention made! Te place they were at before didnt provide the medical attention they needed. They even messed up their prescriptions at times. Bentley Homes were really the perfect place for my parents as they lived out the rest of their beautiful life. We are so happy we found this place.

I found Bentley Manor for my mother. Price-wise, it is a little more than I want but it works well for us. It is smaller than a lot of places. I bonded quickly with Mona, who runs the place, and it has a lot to do with her why I chose this facility. I know that she could take care of my mother. I also like the facility and her staff. It just seems more like a perfect fit for my mother.
