My 98 year-old mother has never been happier or healthier. She adores ActivCare and we are so grateful for the care she is getting there. They have a great staff there, wonderful people, they are all so kind and attentive. They urge her to get involved with the activities and socialize with the residents which she has been doing. When she doesn’t want to participate in activities, she’s happy sitting on the sidelines and critiquing other residents on their skills. LOL! The facility is spotless and the food is good. We’re glad she’s so happy.

My brother is at ActivCare Laguna Hills and it is absolutely marvelous. The aides are wonderful with all the residents. They have a nurse on staff 24 hours, and they have access to doctors that come into the facility. I believe they even have a dentist that would come into the facility. They also have physical therapy. The only thing is the food is just ordinary. They could do better on that, but everything else is great. They have games that they play to keep all of the residents moving around and involved. They keep their eye on everybody and they get to know the residents. Every time I'm there it's wonderful, not only for my brother, but I could see that it's that way for everybody. The facility is beautiful. It's well kept and it happens to be only two and a half years old. One of the aides was actually painting one of the residents' nails one day. It's a little overboard, but it was very nice because it made the resident very happy that her nails were being done.
