My father was in Windsor Park Care Center of Fremont in 2015. Some staff was super good and others not as good. It was always cold. They had bingo, church services, games, and special days when somebody came in and played music, and he took part in quite a few.

I stayed in Windsor Park for almost three months. They were wonderful as far as the staff. The CNAs, nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists, tehy're great! I like them, they were nice. At first, I just felt very sorry for myself that I had to be there but then this place became like a home for me. The only issue I had there was that there were a lot of dementia patients. My roommate, who has lived there for 20 years, she has MS. Though her physical ability was limited, at least we can talk and laugh and had conversation. Whereas, I was thinking, if I was in a room with any of other patients who has dementia that didn't speak at all, it would be difficulty for me. I just happened to be at the right time with the right person. I wouldn't mind going there again except for the fact that you would hear dementia patients screaming or crying or what-have-you and if you're there throughout the night, you would have a different attitude and it would be difficult. However, also as far the facility, the cleanliness, and the food, they were all great.
