My wife has moved into Mary's Manor. I like the fact that they are right there all the time, so you can have 24/7 care. They only take care of five people. It's more home-like. It's a small place and it is kind of private. You got a hospital bed and furniture there and my wife seems to be okay there. I haven't tried their food, but she seems to be eating well. The staff is competent and friendly. They're good people. It's a very clean place. They bathe them regularly. They take care of her if she has any problems. They exercise her and they take her outside. Before, when I was taking care of her, she was asleep a lot. But she doesn't seem to be doing as much over there, which is good. I don't have any problems with the staff.

The Mary's Manor house seemed OK, but the price was a little off from what they had listed, so I was taken back a little by that. I had a full viewing of the property and saw the rooms that were becoming available. I also saw the structured menu that they had, and all of that seemed fine. I made a decision based on the fact that there's only a few residents there, and I didn't think my mom would fit in with a small group. It was a residential property
