My father is doing very well at Shepherd Watch Elderly Care Home. It's got a home feel to it because it's just a private residence. It's a little bit more personal. The food is very good. His room is pretty nice-sized. He has his own TV and recliner, a lift chair, and a bed. They watch a lot of TV, but he has Parkinson's, so there's not a lot that he can do. The owner/operator is a retired nurse, so you have some knowledgeable person in charge, and they're respectful and helpful.
