I would not recommend Harbor Villa Care Center to anyone. My mom was there for four or five weeks and she was sent there by the hospital. Although they took great care in making sure everybody was COVID-free, my mother fell during her stay there, and then she developed a sore that was never able to be cured. So, that was on their watch. The main caregivers were inexperienced. That's why mom fell because the lady didn't know enough to call for help, to assist her in moving my mother to the bathroom, for example. I said to her that she should have just changed her on the bed or called for help. Communication was also a factor in the low rating. The activities were very limited. Due to my mother's condition, she wasn't particularly participating. She was left sitting for long, long periods of time, which was why she developed a sore on her body. The atmosphere was just depressing. The food looked pretty good, though.
