"Mount Royal Pines III was a very nice community. The staff was very attentive, and the rooms were very nice. It's very adequate, well-lit, and has a kitchenette. It felt like home. During the pandemic, they had limited activities, but they are ramping up the activities now. They have a lovely outdoor area, where the residents can socialize and meet with each other. They also have a garden area, where the residents can be active in helping to plant flowers. They have an onsite salon, an activity room, and games. I appreciated that they had a library area and screened-in porches, too."

"My mom is now a resident of Aftenro. She has been there for two weeks now. It's a board and care facility. It has been excellent. They have been communicative, very helpful, and attentive to needs. In the age of COVID, I haven't even been in the building, but my mom apparently likes it. She said the food is wonderful. She likes her room. The value for money is reasonable and average."

"Lenox Place in Duluth is the best assisted living facility I have visited. Maybe most important, the staff there seemed to enjoy their job and care about the people. I have a friend that works there and she has confirmed that is like that on a daily basis.The interior and exterior of the building was appealing and well maintained. There was plenty to do for the residents. A fitness center, game room, and dining facility were all appealing. The room I visited was well furnished, spacious, and suitable for my grandma. My grandma grew up in the area and loves the city. She is still able to get around fairly well. This facility takes residents to age appropriate events in Duluth and the surrounding area. My grandma enjoys living there. She has more friends now than before she came here. They play cards, eat, watch tv, and have some fun everyday they are there. I would recommend Lenox Place as a top option for an assisted living facility in Duluth. "

"We toured. The apartment would have been fine for a couple. What we were looking for was a real apartment. Where we can do cooking and stuff without meals. The staff answered all of our questions and everything. The facility was clean. People we saw there were hanging out, they all seemed to be just fine. I think that because it's assisted living, the facility is just fine for somebody looking for that kind of facility. It would have been nice to have seen more space for people to sit and stuff like that, and to have more of a recreation area, but otherwise, it was fine."

"The facility was really nice. It was a four bedroom two story home with two bathrooms. It had its own laundry area and had a good amount of room for the clients to move around in. It had a good amount of accommodations as well. But the staff could be a hit and miss. Some staff truly cared about their clients and watched out for their health. On other times, some staff members would only view this as "another job". But there was a good guideline set for each worker, and goals to accomplish every day. There was also projects and special occasions where the clients were permitted to go out in the town. It is a good facility that has good intentions. "

"Edgewood in Hermantown was very nice. The inside part was beautiful. The outdoors was very nice also. The apartment was roomy. The lady that we talked to was very nice. She'd been there a while. She knows the place well and she took us on a nice tour. They have a huge dining room and they have bingo games and stuff in there when there isn't a meal. They have a room where you can take your family if your apartment is too small. They have another room with a pool table, and a little bar area that made it look like a bar, and they had juices there. It was a very nice room for the family and the residents if they wanted to go and just get out of the apartment for a while. If I could move in there tomorrow, I would be there. I loved it."
