"My mother was at Sage Grove Assisted Living. The staff was really good to my mom and kept everything very clean and nice. It was a nice place for her to be. They took very good care of her. She had a small room with a single bed in it. They were very good about letting my father go in and stay with her during the day. "

"Homestead Assisted Living Centers - St Anthony has been very great to my mother-in-law. That place is very amazing. The house supervisor there has been just so good to her. It's a very good place. It just wasn't working out with family members there. Unfortunately, that is why we had to take her out. They were very great. They put up with a lot in seven months of family stuff. Even with the care, she was more demanding than a lot of other patients there; they were still right on it. They weren't qualified or staffed to do that, but they did take care of her very well. She said the food was wonderful. She actually put on weight and enjoyed the food. I've tried some of it. It's homemade, not frozen. They do grill for them. The manager will get out and grill some hot dogs or hamburgers sometimes. They're all equipped with cable. It would have been nice to have phones set up in there, like landlines. That's the only thing that I didn't like, that there wasn't a landline. They were very good at taking her the phone and letting her use it. They have wireless phones inside. It would have been better to have a personal phone in a room. She can't use a cell phone anymore. That's kind of just the downside there. It would have been a plus. Other than that, the rooms were great. They got their own bathrooms and showers. They also have a spa and salon. They have a big patio with shaded tables. They have a big room. They do puzzles, and they have one big computer. Any of them can get on it at anytime. They do have some exercise equipment, and a couple of spots where they can go sit outside. There's also a patio upfront in the shade with a swing on it. It's kept up very well and very clean. They are taking care of flowers. It's very nice. There wasn't a lot of activities going on, so that's kind of a downside. I wish they would have something like that going on. They do have a movie night. Sometimes they put a movie in during the day, but I just didn't see a lot of activities going on other than that. The manager there helped out a lot on where to get what we needed to get her in there. They also were helpful on what kind of insurance we needed to get her on. They even let her in at first with a deposit of $3500. They reimbursed once her Medicaid part kicked in. That was very helpful because we really needed to get her into a place right then. It was very great of them."

"The assisted living home that my Grandfather was in was clean and orderly, I have my issues already with these homes because I know I do not want to have to be left in a home for the remaining years of my life. I was satisfied with the care that was provided, and was comfortable leaving at night knowing he was there, only because there is an end goal in mind, he will be going home as soon as he can get out of bed on his own again and is safe to be around the home, with a live in care giver. The rehabilitation area was nice, the staff was knowledgeable and was able to deal with my bull headed patriarch, they were able to get him working on the weak left side and did so without issues or angry words. "

"My Ex - Husband was living there and I will say this the staff there is great, it was clean and food looked great, well cared for. Especially this one worker named AMY she was with my EX until he passed, took the best care and love for him until his last day. Nurses would tell me how amazing and how great she was in the memory care department. She makes the facility much better with the quality care she provided. I am forever grateful for my Ex- Husband to have had someone to care for him as much as she did."

"My mother is at The Gables of Ammon. Her room is nice and laid out decent. It's not too big and not too small. The staff is awesome, very attentive, and they take really good care of her. The food is decent. They keep her busy almost every day. They have a nice lunchroom and dining room. They tend to her needs very well."

"I visited the Life Care Center of Idaho Falls to see a friend who was a resident there. She was there for rehab in their nursing home. It was clean and nice, although not brand-new. For an older facility, it was well taken care of. I like their friendliness and cooperation. My friend was in a small room. It wasn't that big, but it was clean and nice. I didn't ask about their activities, but they had a big lounge room with a TV. I think they also have an outdoor space in the back of the building. I also have just recently inquired about their services for my brother, and they told me they take veterans and that they've taken veterans before in that facility."

"Fairwinds - Sand Creek seemed extra large. It had three floors. They have the most available options in room sizes and a lot to choose from if they become available. So you would be able to find a room in your price range. The facility was very clean and very nice. The staff offered me a dessert on my way out, and that was amazing."

"I visited Tambree Meadows. I needed to change that appointment and they're very willing to work with my schedule to get me in. The person who did the tour was very friendly, professional, accommodating, and helpful. She greeted me at the door and gave me an information packet. The room looked great, clean, and adequate."
