These are skilled staff with many years of experience, which showed as they discussed the process of passing through various stages of decline to eventually to death with timely use of prescription medications to pacify our mother's mental and physical pains and by ensuring a gentle processes of shutting down and gracefully passing on. We were very impressed with their skill in attending to our mother's needs of cleanliness, catheterization, body transfers and physical movements. They enabled us to do all that we were capable of doing ourselves in the last weeks of our mother's life. The nurses checked in by frequently calling and texting us.
