Aspen Home Health and Hospice [Aspen] provided exceptional, 5-plus star, care to our mother as she rapidly progressed from being able to stand on her own, to being incapable of attending to any of her basic needs while being transferred daily between a hospital bed provided by Aspen to a recliner, and then during the final two weeks of her life while she was incoherent and unable to communicate in any manner. First, we want to express our deepest appreciation for the professional manner in which the staff of administrators, nurses, nurses aides, and chaplain (backed by medical doctors) ministered not only the medical care that was needed, but compassionate services and advice to our family. I can honestly say that we were blessed day-by-day with medically professional care and the human compassion of Shianne (nurse), Britney (nurse), Darcy (CNA), Madeline (CNA), Janel (nurse), Joe (Chaplain), and Danny (equipment setup). These are skilled staff with many years of experience, which showed as they discussed the process of passing through various stages of decline to eventually to death with timely use of prescription medications to pacify our mother's mental and physical pains and by ensuring a gentle processes of shutting down and gracefully passing on. We were very impressed with their skill in attending to our mother's needs of cleanliness, catheterization, body transfers and physical movements. They enabled us to do all that we were capable of doing ourselves in the last weeks of our mother's life. The nurses checked in by frequently calling and texting us. They responded immediately to every emergent need. We knew they cared about us as much as our dying mother. Their knowledge and explanations of the normal dying process was a comfort to us. We truly appreciate the regular visits by their Chaplain, Joe. He visited with our mother in a gentle manner, and helped her recognize and deal with her physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. As devote members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Joe was thoughtful of our practices and beliefs [note: Joe is attends a non-denominational church, and has years of working in the ministry]. Not only did he complement our beliefs, but he added much to our understanding of our mothers feelings and certain fears, as well as yearning to be with loved ones as she crossed the veil to a spiritual realm. We would encourage everyone to let Joe into your homes and life. Finally, Aspen Home Health and Hospice use the finest equipment available for transfers to the bathroom tub, articulating beds, and dynamic air inflation that reduces bed discomfort and sores. Danny was quick to come, setup, and demonstrate how to use the hospital bed. Everything was in top condition. In summary, we are at great peace upon the passing of our dear mother. Aspen Home Health and Hospice helped create this peaceful experience. Beyond outstanding bedside manner, they exhibited excellent professional skill in every aspect of their work during this process. They truly care about the person on hospice, as well as the surrounding family.

Aspen Home Health Care served my father for 20 months. He was a Type 1 Diabetic. They came faithfully 4 times a day to his home, then to an Assisted living facility to administer insulin, check vitals and care for him. There were even times they scrambled up some eggs or cooked toast. The nurses went above and beyond their listed responsibilities and became friends with my father. He looked forward to their visits and they always left him better than they found him. Ii would highly recommend this group to help care for your loved ones.

I have been so impressed with Aspen Hospice. Today would have been my grandma's 98th birthday, but she passed away last year. I received a cute card from Aspen Hospice today. Thanks for going the extra mile! ❤

We hired Aspen for my parents. They come in daily for two hours to help bathe, do lighthouse work, administer medications, check blood pressure, and weigh them. It's kind of basic skilled nursing and home attendance. The caregivers have been wonderful and professional. My parents are very attached to the caregivers. They come every morning for two hours and for an hour in the afternoon three times a week. I still work full-time, so it helps to cover some of the gaps. It has been very positive, and they do a great job.

My husband had Alzheimers and Asbestosis for 7 years. I was his care/giver at home with the help of VA Medical Services and Creekside Hospice (which I only needed for 3 weeks). I was wirh the care/share internet which was very helpful contacting other caregivers and only way I could interface with others since I could not leave home without someone to watch him. All of the health care services are very valuable for caregivers, I am very grateful for the help from VA and Hospice providers, Jim passed away May, 2011.
