The facility’s physical condition is poor; my relative’s room lacked basic window coverings, forcing staff to improvise with an old blanket. Despite cleaning efforts, there is a persistent roach infestation and a strong odor of urine in the bathrooms. Since the new management company took over, the quality of care has declined sharply due to reduced staffing ratios. This lack of personnel has direct consequences: my brother was confined to his bed following an illness because there was no one available to help him dress for meals. Furthermore, I witnessed staff rushing residents through dining; those who were non-verbal or slow to respond frequently had their plates removed before they could finish eating. Fortunately, we were able to move my relative to another facility, ensuring the new location was not affiliated with the same management company.

I am currently at Santa Rosa nursing home...yea nothing is perfect I don't know one facility that is...Staff trys thr best here but thrs also patients here with thousands of problems physically and mentally....I personally don't report people cuz wats it going to do make a bigger mess with so n so said this n that....I personally don't have a reason to be upset with the workers here but I personally think if you have a issue with one CNA ask for another one or a nurse.They r still humans to NO ONE IS PERFECT workers basically go through wat us residents do bcuz they take care of us.So instead of complaining about certain things then maybe the complainers need to take care of thr own family members them selves or try to do something besides talking crap... Thank you.. N yes I'm a coherent resident here ...

My brother in-law moved in to Santa Rosa about a month ago. It seemed the perfect place for him. Everything is so convenient there. It has a lockdown unit or dementia unit where he stays. He is in a shared room. He says the food is good. They do a number of different activities with him. He can go out in the courtyard and mingle with the other patients. They can play basketball.
