"River Gardens Rehab & Care Center was fantastic. It’s right beside the hospital that my brother was in. It was very clean. They had a telephone in the room and they could answer their own phone. The staff was fantastic. He goes to rehab almost twice a day which is good. They exercise him to walk up and down. He was a different person; he was alive. His girlfriend also said that they are very nice to her when she comes. They have a dining area there. They dine there or they’ll bring the food to their room. It is fantastic service. "

"We are extremely happy with The Lingenfelter Center for Alzheimer's Care - The Lingenfelter Center. I am happy that my husband got to go there. The thing that I like most is the staff, the CNAs, the nurses, and the doctors. The ones who deal directly with the residents are marvelous. I'm overjoyed with them. They're very respectful towards the residents. I don't know that there is anything that I don't like about them. It hasn't even been half a year yet, but so far, I'm very happy with everything. They're only for Alzheimer's. Right next door, just across the road, they have a place that's more of a nursing home. They have a beautiful kitchen area, and I've been there with my husband. He gets served three very good meals a day. If he doesn't like what they're serving, they have options that he can ask for, and they will cook it up for him. The one who heads the food gets in touch with you all the time. They're very good about checking on them with their meals. The ones who cannot feed themselves, they feed them. They make sure that they all eat. All three units have patios outdoors, very nice walkways, flowers, and bushes. They have a library. They have little rooms that even a visitor like me could go in, and I could take my husband to a separate room to visit with him. They have a very nice setup. They have a wonderful staff for recreation. I've gone to some of the things with my husband. They have a big TV, and they'll have movies and dancing. They play wonderful music for them. They have different ball-type games. They have therapy. They have tons of activities. The activities are wonderful, and every day they do something different with all of them. I think that my money is well worth it for the care that he gets and the attention that he gets. They're reasonable. We chose Lingenfelter for the rehab, but he did so well there that we looked into it and applied to have him stay there."
