"This facility like any LTC facility does have its flaws. Considering the area it's in and the age of the majority of the towns residents, there biggest flaw is finding suitable employees in the area. However, if that's the only flaw it has, show me a facility like this that doesn't have the same problem. I disagree with the previous comment. Legacy does provide activities for there residents. They do go above and beyond to make the experience for the residents a comfortable one. This is because from my understanding they do realize that for most of there residents this is it for them. If I had a choice of where to send a loved one I would choose Legacy. Unfortunately, it is too late for me. "

"River Gardens Rehab & Care Center was fantastic. It’s right beside the hospital that my brother was in. It was very clean. They had a telephone in the room and they could answer their own phone. The staff was fantastic. He goes to rehab almost twice a day which is good. They exercise him to walk up and down. He was a different person; he was alive. His girlfriend also said that they are very nice to her when she comes. They have a dining area there. They dine there or they’ll bring the food to their room. It is fantastic service. "

"Our loved one has been a resident of The Lingenfelter Center since late 2015 following several severe acute medical issues. During this time, we have been appreciative of the care, assistance, patience and communications from both the administrative and frontline staff. Over the years our loved one has had several ups and downs due to her chronic medical conditions and we have found the staff pays close attention to the daily changes of residents and reacts in the most caring and compassionate ways with the best interests of the resident in mind. We especially appreciate that frontline staff has an excellent handle on the uniqueness and individual needs of each resident and takes that into consideration during their care. We have found the facility to be clean and well maintained. The food is well prepared and presented in a manner that is appropriate for the abilities and desires of the individual resident. Additionally, assistance is provided at mealtime as necessary so that all residents are fully able to enjoy the mealtime offerings. Of special note are the staff’s desire to engage the residents in daily activities; calendars are posted, games are played, activities are presented, outings away from the facility are completed, therapy animals are brought in, local vocal and instrument groups are presented, etc. Their always seems to be something going on. We feel fortunate that The Lingenfelter Center and their loving staff have become our partner in caring for a member of our family. "
