Unfortunately, myself and my families experience with this facility was anything but good. We were lied to about the kind of care they can provide, both legally ( as they are an Alf facility) and medically. They accepted my Father who was in late stage alz/dem knowing FULL well how bad it was. They took 3.400.00 of my elderly Mothers, accepted without ANY doctor orders or other protocol that is mandated in Alabama. Kept him for 4 days of which not ONE was a full day or night, We were there for almost all of what little time he was there and the time we did leave him alone, he was medicated on Serequil so heavily, that he fell and was unconscious,it wasnt until my husband and I arrived 20 minutes later they even considered calling an ambulance. Our encounter with them did not stop there......however to sum it up in the end they had him 4 days total accepted him when they were not licensed to do so and refused to give us back any portion of the money. we are in t process of pursuing them legal;y. I URGE you to look elsewhere. If you look atthe current residents they are all like zombies because they are so heavily medicated
