"I like Youville Place and its staff. It has nice surroundings, and it is very clean. The rooms are bright. They have activities like arts and crafts, gardening, and yoga. It is across the street from a park. A mall is probably 50 minutes away, and a hospital is probably 15 minutes away. The grounds are large. They have lots of trees, and it is a good place to walk. "

"Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Ctr-Natick is very good about answering any of my husband's needs. If he pushes the button, they're there pretty quickly afterward. They seem to be very friendly. His room in the skilled nursing is two to a room. I like that everything is clean. They bathe him and keep him comfortable that way. The meals are all right. When they go into the common room, they play games and he seems to enjoy going in there and being with the other people. We also like that they accept Medicaid, because not all places do."

"I cannot say enough about the Community Family day care services in Medford, MA that my 97year old Mother attends. They are wonderful, caring, people, speaking for my Mother the attention that she receives from them are outstanding. I always receive notice if the staff have any questions regarding my Mother, whether it be an health issue, or some personal care. I am so grateful that I found this facility and have peace of mind while she is there. "

"My husband is in the Veteran's Adult Care group at the Soldiers Home and it has done wonders for him. Actually, it has helped his memory and conversation a little. The people there are so kind, thoughtful and understanding. The people that attend love it. They get to talk about their time in the service and they all seem to love that. They go over the newspaper with them every morning and then have a discussion about current events. Some days the play a DVD with "older" music which the men and women love. Some days my husband does not want to leave there. I'm so greatful to my husband's Dr. for telling me about this program. I wish more people knew of it. "

"The care at this adult day care if WONDERFUL!! The care givers are all so kind and caring. The receptionist even brings a Greek newspaper for my husband which she picks up from a Greek friend of her fathers. I was not prepared to be so satisfied and delighted with the care my husband who has Alzeheimers receives there three days a week. "

"Adult Daily care. Dad been attending one year. It’s been a blessing. Looking at it from the view point of what the senior likes and will thrive vs what I prefer. We needed assistance from isolation; meds; nutrition and a friendly hello every day. He has received all of them. They do a easy game daily and some musical guests. He enjoys the simple life now and that is ok. Pleasant staff with some turn over but that’s to be expected. I feel he’s safe. I never had negative issue w staff. He’s stable. Enjoy the moments. A new space in 2019 for adult daily care too."

"They treated my Mom well who was basically in hospice after complications from Stage 4 endometrial Cancer. She was not mobile but they tried to move her around and make her as comfortable as possible. The facility was nice, food decent, etc...Like any other facility, they have very good staff, and then some others who need improvement. But overall her nurses and the other staff were good. "

"My sister went to Pondview Lodge Adult Day Health. All the day placements had to close with the CDC restrictions. She was very happy there. She was there a couple of years and I was very happy with that. It was very nice. The staff was very good and they brought in volunteers for entertainment. It was very safe and very structured. She used to really look forward to going there. I would bring her there in the morning. She was there from 9:00 until 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. It was gorgeous. It had two floors, and it had a wide, open area with a piano and different things that they could do. They offered different activities. The upstairs clients were the ones who could take on field trips. They evaluate the person, then they would try them on one floor or the other floor depending on what their needs were. They would develop a care program of what their needs were. That's how they categorize them, which was so good. They stopped when the virus started. It was perfect because you could pick your loved ones up, then you could do little groceries, then come home and have supper with the family. They had a nurse come in for some of the people there. The building itself is ideal for seniors because it's huge. It's two big floors and it's located right on a lake. They went fishing. It was so tranquil, serene, nice, and quiet. It was a nice place for them to be. I felt comfortable she was there. We loved it. I can't say enough. I'm a big advocate for those day centers. They need to do something to get them back because it's really helpful, especially for caretakers who need to work."

"My husband Dick and I were the first two applicants at our Gloucester unit of PACE- It has been a journey. My husband was a pussy cat.. I on the other hand, was not. I was a very difficult person for them to deal with.. But they kept up their efforts to get me to help myself with their patience, I finally realized I was my own worst enemy, and they genuinely cared about us. The entire staff is wonderful, patient, caring and understanding. The interaction with staff and each individual is sincere. The food is excellent-home made-no processed foods at all. The facility has everything conceivable to aid each of us in our quest for a meaningful life. If the Northshore Unit is any example of your other facilities, you are all remarkable--but I will always think of our unit here in Gloucester Ma. as the Flagship of your group=and one to set examples by. Diane Wood site coordinator, has done a remarkable job. "

My Father thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with these folks and I would highly recommend them to children whose parents may enjoy meeting some folks and partaking wonderful, stimulating activities throughout the day.
