This agency came to provide services at my resident. They were paid handsomely by my insurance, which left me owing $95. I have tried to pay this company on numerous occasions and have even talked with their representatives by phone. In todays world, you would think you could pay this online, but this company has no way to do that, which is why I was communicating with them regarding payment. They are requesting old fashion ways of paying, which I'd like for them to set up ways to get their payment online. Therefore, they've decided to provide this to a collection agency who's charging almost double. Sorry, but the only amount that will get paid is what I owe, which is $95. So i wish we could come to some conclusion.
still not recovered

Don't use this provider if you have HMO insurance. I had back surgery and my surgeon's office assigned me Abundant Home Health (AHH) as my home health service. I just found out today after 6 documented sessions that I was supposed to be discharged today. According to a AHH supervisor I just spoke to, it is company policy to discharge HMO patients after 12 visits. He told me I was supposed to be notified of this 12 visit limit during my first visit. The logbook I have shows 6 visits. I had a home health nurse at my home the same time as my first therapist visit. This counted as 2 visits(?) My log book shows a total of 6 visits. Even if you add the one nurse visit, this totals 7 visits, not 12. I was never worked hard or physically challenged enough for recovery. Today I feel like I have had no physical benefit from these sessions. To make things worse, during the past 2 weeks of my sessions I have been hounded by AHH office staff wanting me to contact my insurance company to make sure that my insurance is in force. My insurance is through Marketplace and automatically drafted each month. My insurance does not expire until 12/31. I explained that to AHH, but they still hounded me. Overall, I feel like my therapist didn't know about AHH 12 session limit, or I think she would've pushed me harder to help me recover from surgery. Maybe if you have insurance other than HMO you will have better results.

Abundant Home Health out of Arlington Texas is by far the most unorganized agency. The main staff does not communicate with the rn & other care professionals. They were treating my grandma and the nurse did not show up for her weekly visit, when called the director said that she didnt need her pills that night. The nurse did not show up the next day. Leaving my grandma without her insulin and morning meds. Since they only come once a week, all of her med were out. I had to drive across town and fill her med and insulin for her use the next morning. Once I finally got a call back (3 voicemails and spoke to the receptionist 2 times) I finally got a call back and the only answer they could give is I'm sorry. Please consider another agency when choosing care for your loved ones. thanks
