We have had Joyful Companions (JC) help with our Dad for 3 years, and have had two different Companions involved with Dad. They visited him at home before he moved into an assisted living, and one stayed with him for the full year that he was there. Now he is at home with 24 hour care with another agency, and the Companion who saw him at home before his move, is still seeing him once a week, again at his home. She gives the full-time caregiver a break by being with Dad for 3 hours at a time. It is great for Dad to have a friend who is has known him throughout the changes that he has been through in the last three years. She has been whatever support he has needed by a companion and has stuck with him through all the changes he has experienced. The social worker and office staff at JC are lovely and they care about Dad, too. We are grateful that JC exists, and that it's affordable. I feel relaxed knowing that his Companion is there for him every week.

We feel blessed to have found Joyful Companions. Our mom suffers from dementia and it looked like we'd soon have to move her to assisted living, which in Mom's case would only accelerate her decline. Our commitment is to keep Mom in her home as long as possible, Joyful Companions makes this possible. Wonderful, caring women come to visit Mom. They've become close friends. Plus, Joyful Companions provides an amazing social worker to help us navigate this very challenging time. As we need additional services Joyful Companions are here to help us every step of the way. Mom is not going to get better but we feel so much better because of the support we get. We could not be happier. As I said, we feel blessed.

Joyful Companions has my wholehearted, positive recommendation. They simply have not failed us. If you can use any of their services, do so. Here’s why: My wife has been experiencing a very slow and continuing decline from the effects of multiple sclerosis for the past 20 years. My goal is to have her remain at home, as I, other family members and outside helpers provide a variety of cares. Joyful Companions helpers have been a rock-solid cornerstone in this effort, providing truly good people who are motivated and dedicated to helping support my wife and keep the household running. Since beginning with them in 2012, perhaps a dozen people have come to help at various times along the way, each of them here for years at a time. Joyful Companions has a large base of people with many talents and pairs workers with our needs.They very dependably provide companionship, shopping, cooking, errand-running, laundering . . . all kinds of help. Talk to Joyful Companions about what you need. I’m sure your choice will be rewarded.

Joyful companions is run like a family of caregivers. The women that have come to our Mom’s house have been life changing for all of us. Our Mom has a committed friend that she so needed, but Did Not want. They are flexible, affordable and irreplaceable as far as we are concerned. They take her out shopping, exercise and on adventures. She also now helps with cleaning and meals. We get the advice and direction we need as new issues arise from a social worker who is committed to helping us every step of the way! I have used Joyful Companions for several years to provide care for my elderly handicapped mother. Every one of their employees has demonstrated an understanding and true interest in working with the elderly. I've used other services and found Joyful Companions to be far superior. They have outstanding employees who stay with the company for years. It's so comforting to know that I can leave and the caregivers know exactly what to do to provide my mother with a safe and fun visit. I highly recommend using them.
