We have somebody coming in now from Homewatch CareGivers, and it seems to be working out well. She is fantastic. It's not always smooth, but she works from her heart; you can tell by the care and the response that she gives my mother-in-law. We're very pleased. The caregiver is a nursing student and because of that, she has a lot of credibility. My mother-in-law wasn't too happy with the first caretaker she got but was very satisfied with the second one that came in. They're very obliging her schedule. The billing is fantastic. We have it authorized, and I get an invoice every Tuesday morning so that I know what was actually covered, so it's been very smooth on that end.

My Mom can not walk and we wanted her home for Christmas. She really did not want anyone but us to take care of her, but we are older and could not do this. I accidentally contacted Homewatch CareGivers and so glad I did. Mom "adopted" the nurse that took care of her and so did our family. We are very picky and they were wonderful. Our family would use them again in an instant. Just wish we had found them before we sold Mom's home to put her in a nursing home. Mom loves this service and I am sure we will use them again for any events. It is nice to know that we have this option now and Mom is looking forward to seeing Danielle.

I needed help for my parents when my father was in hospice and my mother was wearing out. Homewatch came in and made a huge difference for my family. My mother got relief to do things around their house that were her familiar routine and comforting to her. My father got the personal care he needed that my mother couldn't provide. There was someone there to stay up with him at night so my mother could sleep. I knew that I could keep working, and I'm an out of town daughter, and that I had immediate help if there was an emergency. I also knew that there was a safety factor in the home and that the strain of caring for my father wasn't going to cause my mother to become ill too. It was such a relief. Homewatch came back in and helped my mother a few months after my father's death when she had to have some surgery. I don't know what I would have done if they hadn't been there and done such a good job. I own a home care agency myself, so I had high expectations - Homewatch CareGivers in Louisville did a great job!
